I hate the traffic! I also hate that the names of streets change without notice as you drive through the city, even if the street is straight all the way. Arg! Plus, if you are still driving in the correct direction, the signs indicating train station, airport or hospital appear once, even if you need to turn right or left along the way. To be fair, I do however, acknowledge that the last time I drove within Hamburg was about 25 years ago. (I have lived in Sweden for the past 20 plus years) What I love: the fish market and fish in restaurants, the variety of shops within walking distance of each other, the atmosphere, the water and, of course, the people! During the ten years I lived in Germany, I lived in Husum on the North Sea, so I also loved that Hamburg was easily accessible by train, taking less than two hours. Walking in Hamburg is much more fun than driving! By the way, originally I am an American woman from San Diego, California, who moved to Germany when I was 38. Im 71 now!

I love Hamburg, one of my favourite city's in the world, has such an interesting: grunge, punk rock kind of feel. St pauli has so much amazing street art everywhere, people are nice. Reaperbahn definetly seedy, lots of homeless and junkies around, dodgy turkish guys trying to sell shit coke etc, can be dangerous at night, few transvestites that try and pick pocked and girls that offer blow jobs for 10 or 20 euro then steal your phone and wallet when they pull ya pants down and run etc Also yeah the weather is shit, cold, grey, windy alot, but yeah i cant explain it, has such an interesting amazing vibe

Hamburg is getting a 245-meter skyscraper. An American can't expect the architecture of a city of millions in Europe to stay the same forever. What would you think if the New York skyline hadn't changed since the 1930s? A big city changes, that's normal. And I especially like cities that offer both the old and the new. That's why I love cities like Berlin, Hamburg or Frankfurt.

old world germany is not only in the south. it is everywhere, also in Hamburg. What you associate with old world germany is typical bavarian or in general southern german buildings and cities. But this is only half of germany. Northern germany is simply different. But most international people associate with germany only bavaria.

When you make a video review about the city and its places, show the actual places of the city while you're taking about them so people can actually watch the video until the very end

I am confused how the confusion that Hamburg is poor came from. Hamburg is a rich city in Germany and it is beautiful, too. I love Hamburg and that is my city.

You forget the Emigrant museum Ballinstadt. You will love this. It depicts the different wave of emigration out of Germany during the last centuries.
