Just wanted to say that your videos really cover lots of details that foreign tourists usually don't know or don't care about, a very well done job indeed!
Personally i find it very nice to hear someone from a very far country such as the U. S. A. talk so passionately and so happily about Italy and especially Veneto, where i come from.
I saw that you visited Padova, my home city, and i was wondering: What did you like about it? Which sites you found most interesting?
Keep up the great work!

Mark, one of the reasons I love your videos so much is because you really know how to immerse yourself into the local culture and people and doing so you really know how to enjoy yourself.
Another thing I've learned from all of your videos is how impressive the architecture has been throughout western and central Europe throughout the centuries. It really is unparalleled and is a testament to the people who built it.

Hey wolters, what about a video about the best way to find hotels/apartments? Here in Europe we use mainly booking. com and airbnb for booking and tripadvisor for reviews. But for example in the US I know that Yelp is very big on reviews and restaurant reservation, no idea about booking hotels. Maybe you can do a video about which websites to use in every continent?
Thanks, love you videos.

My dad was stationed in Vicenza in the 90s (hes retired special forces army, I think back then it was only for certain military branches. they mustve opened it up to different branches of the military recently. But when I was growing up the pictures he had from Vicenza and Stuttgart Germany were my favorite, the architect is so beautiful in Europe

Hi Mark. I've been a long time fan and today it occurred to me that you could make a fortune leading group tours to your favorite places. Probably not in the cards right now with young kids, but is that something you might do when they're off to college? Can I pre-book for the 2035 trip of your choice right now?

Your videos make me sooo happy! I don't have a chance to travel to my favorite country in the world aka Italy quite yet, but watching your videos makes me feel closer to it. And my best friend is Italian as well! Wonderful people.

Dear sir Mark, you know so much about travel in so many helpful details, and languages too, it's amazing! Plus being a lecturer!
Thanks!
It's interesting that we can go to Vicenza and see Venice! That's my takeaway!

Looking forward to visiting Italy next month, professor: ).
Vicenza will be on my list, will it be enough for one day visit?
because I'm staying in Venice as a base for visiting different towns around it.

Spent many weeks over the years working with the Italian and American Air Forces at Vicenza, Aviano, and up the mountain at Monte Venda. One of my favorite regions in Italy and locations in all of Europa.
