Wolters World, I was in Brazil back in '76, but the only area I saw was Amazonas state, near the confluence of the Marmelos and Maici (my-SEE) rivers NE of Porto Velho (POOR-two VAIL-you. At around 2: 15 I saw the bottle of guarana (gwah-rah-NAH, which reminded me of that Brazilian soft drink--really good! We tasted it on the riverboats on which we traveled 3 days and nights out of Manaus (ma-NOWCE) on the Negro, Amazon, Madeira, Marmelos and Maici. I agree, Brazil is maravilloso/ma-rah-vee-YO-so (Spanish, and maravilhoso/ma-rah-veal-YO-zoo (Portuguese.

Hi Mark, your videos are very entertaining and helpful, I've just used some of your tips in my vacation travel! But about the long time to get the bus tickets in the stations here in Brazil, you mentioned that in 3 or 4 of your videos, so I thing you had a bad personal experience while buying those tickets. But in my past experience, It is quick. It's just the amount of time to say where you want to go, choose your seats, the time to print the tickets and pay for them, normally under 2 minutes. Why you had a bad impression about this service?

Brazil is one place we'd really like to visit. As you know, I speak enough Spanish to get by but my Portugese is not so great. I actually understand Italian better than I do Portuguese. My dad's side of family is from Galicia Spain & they sounded more Portguese than Spanish. It was difficult to understand until they switched back to a dialect I could understand. Do many people in Rio speak English or Spanish? I would go even if they didn't. I'd figure it out lol: ) Thanks!

I love of Chanel and and love even more when you use a MG picture to the image. I'm the proud of being mineira type of person. One thing you should mention is that people are going to get scare of the clay dolls. I always get scare of them when I'm in the countryside. Very creepy

Great video about Brazil! We are not just Rio, you have many awesome places to know here. About the forth tip, that depends on where you are. In the Southeast and South, the services are usually faster than other regions.

Just don't go to Sao Paulo: nothing to do/see overthere. Just for the business: -(
And avoid shirts in Rio, you identify yourself like a tourist (yep I did the error. Everyone wears a t-shirt. or nothing: -)

I was in Sao Paulo just 2 weeks ago. I looooove the food, Picanha was my favourite. Did you get to try the chicken heart?
I was there for only 1 week (mates wedding) and I put on 3kg

Great Video! You keep getting better!
Mr. Mark, what was your favorite place in Brazil outside of Rio? I'm thinking of Minas Gerais and Belem in the north by the Amazon.
