John Cadbury back in 1824 built his own town for his workers Bournville which is still there today. People still live in the area and it is classed as a very nice area the houses are huge compared to the rest of birmingham which back then with the black country was the industrial capital of the world (it was and still is called the black country because all the factories literally covered the sky with black smoke 24/7. Cadbury world is always worth a visit which basically gives you a tour of how chocolate was invented, transported and you also get to see how we make it so rich. You can also buy chocolate there in the store at the end you wont find anyway.

British people wouldnt recognise a lot of these meals as that relevant these days. It's a bit cliched, old fashioned and touristy. British food is about the awesome world class chefs we have, the amazing ingredients we have from all over the UK and modern british food is inspired by its multicultural society. How many brits still eat scotch eggs and steak and kidney pie? Also if they're out and about I reckon a lot of brits will go for coffee over tea these days. Come and experience the real UK and get out of London which most Brits have no connection with. X

Don't get me wrong there are still some fantastic Chippy's scattered about the uk (paticurlaly in seaside towns) but in general I disagree with the suggestion that a pub Fish and chips is not as good, it's actually the opposite now as a a lot of the traditional takeaway outlets have sold out to massive chains who serve a cheaper, more mass produced product which has lowered standards significantly.
Look for somewhere that advertises as being triple/double cooked chips, catch of the day fish and an independent/family owned shop and you can't go far wrong.

NOTHING WRONG WITH THE WATER, only mugs buy bottled water and snowflakes (comes from the tap nine times out of ten anyway. Ask for a full English breakfast you can not go wrong. UK larger is served ice cold as are most draft bears its only real ale type beers and stouts that come from wooden barrels that are no over cold.

For myself, especially that I am a vegetarian, the Indian food scene in the in East London/Whitechapel/Brick Lane was really my all time favorite thing to eat in the UK. However, to get the best experience, going to Brick Lane, Whitechapel, and other parts of East London is the way to go.

I'm English, I don't like English food at all! I'm always eating Eastern. Don't lie English breakfast. Don't like potatoes, Shepard's pie. Pies, beef or Yorkshire puddings as I'm vegan. Is this peculiar even though been brought up with all this?

This is one of the most straight forward food videos Ive seen on food in England. So many dishes mentioned in under 10 minutes instead of an intro/ blog lasting 15 minutes just to see for 5 seconds what Katy ordered at the pub that night.
