Visiting Brazil is an incredible tourist experience. Whether you are heading to Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo for work, or Manaus to the Amazon there are a few things every traveler, tourists, and vacationer should know. Here we go over some of the tourist don'ts of visiting Brazil

You almost got it right when you displayed the photo of the sideways ok sign. The regular ok is fine. The problem is the sideways one or, as you called it, the backwards ok sign. Again, the regular ok is just a normal ok sign. I would be impressed to see a person getting trully offended with that.
However, if you use the middle finger, there's no doubt you will offend people anywhere in the country.

I love your videos. However, Brazil is almost as large as the USA and as culturally diverse. Here in the south, which is culturally different from the tropical areas, we do take a beach towel to the beach. My family has done this for 50 years. And it's not because of our German background and heritage. Most every southerner does that.
Your vids are great. Keep up the good work.

i would add, don't carry expensive stuff you don't really need in public spaces, robbers will target whoever carry more value with them, so keep your expensive watch, jewelry in a safe place, also don't carry too much paper money, criminals pay attention to how much you have in your wallet/purse, try to use prepaid credit cards in local money (Reais)

I lived in Sao Paulo for 1 year (about 35 years ago) and I still miss the pizzas there, especially the gorgonzola pizza - the best in the world I reckon, and I love it that you always get olive oil with the pizzas there as well.

And in Rio. Do not show to much stuff on u.
Dont show cameras, super phones, gold. Be simple dressing in Rio. Dont call to much attention.
Keep in mind the Rios Favelas.

Been here in Brazil for a month. Ive asked many people about this offensive hand gesture. Nobody seems to know why this would be a bad thing.

Just have another caipirinha - suddenly you start understanding Brazilian Portuguese, which - by the way - is more African than European.
