A place that I never see touched on by any travelers, and is a great day visit, is to the small country town of Bastonge Belgium. 45 minute drive from Luxembourg City where there is also an American cemetery and General Patton is buried. None of us would have the luxury of traveling to Europe or watching great videos like this if wasn't for what occurred at Bastonge in December of 1944. Germany had this vital town surrounded, with the US airborne dug in all around the town with no food, shelter, limited supplies while outside in sub zero weather. Despite the 5 to 1 man advantage by the German's, the Americans refused to give in. All the civilians in the surrounding area where hunkered down in the town. Americans lose the town and its a different war ending. When visiting Bastonge start by going to the Bois Jacques woods where the foxholes from the 101st airborne are still there, it will bring chills. Next visit the Peace Woods and Airborne Memorial. Next head into town and visit the newly opened Interactive War Museum told through the eyes of the Belgium People of 1944 and what they Airborne means to the Belgium people. You actually feel like your out in the cold foxholes - its an amazing museum and you will leave with chills and American pride with the videos and interactive rooms to make it engaging and informative for all. Cant say enough about the museum. Then head into town where they still celebrate the Airborne yearly with their stores and restaurants displaying Airborne everywhere. No I don't work for Bastonge - I visited there 2 weeks ago and my first thought was why is this not on the radar of travelers just for a day, its a must visit with that generation all but gone and brings a great perspective of what WW2 meant to the liberated Europeans.

The king cake in France is very different from the Spanish one The shape is different and so are the ingredients. The French one has almonds and butter whereas the Spanish one has some fruits and whipped cream. I personally really don't like the Spanish one.

1: 15 I believe that!
3: 43 TendED? I'm kind of glad to see the past tense there. No offense intended.
4: 22 Known in The Netherlands as Sinterklaas.
7: 33 That's also customary in The Netherlands.

Merry Christmas to you, your family and all mankind. I have a question: Is Paris over rated? sense it was voted one of the top ten most disappointing tourist destinations.
