I just had to chime in simply based on just how happy and excited I am for you both! A boy! Ahhh
As a mom of 2 boys, it has been exactly what you both are saying to expect - constant adventure and curiosity, cuddles and love, yet tough and striving to be independent, getting hurt but it's often harder on us! I mean, you guys are going to be great. You already love going out and having a fun time, and now just imagine a little hand holding on to yours, chasing after another adventure. Kids and babies can be hard, sure, but so can many life things are like that. This is going to seem easy in that your love, passion, and pride for your child will kick into overdrive, and you will just love every moment of watching your boy go from this wiggly stranger who can't do much, to growing up, and giving you hugs, and making you cards, asking for you to show them how to do everything, and making you jump in when maybe you weren't going to. I'm sure girls can be the same, and sure, all kids are different, but there absolutely is something so special about having a son. Mine are 8 and 2, and it has always been wonderful! My only piece of advice is to never hold back what you show and teach them. Never think they are too young. Trust me when I say, your kid will amaze you when you say they can, instead of they are too little. And do not listen to people when they tell you they are too young to learn that, because you WILL know. Much love, and cheers, you guys!

I tried to get pregnant with my ex for years. I lost three babies over those years. They told me it wouldn't happen without extensive treatment. Here I am, 27 weeks pregnant with my boyfriend, having a girl, due the same time as you. My friend always says that I remind him of Jenn. I even call my dog Bean! So happy for you guys! Congratulations!

When I was reading up for my first pregnancy a book said You will consider getting up at 6: 30am a sleep in. I laughed. but they were dead right. if you aren't awake until 7am that is a serious win! And that is for years - I have pre teens and it's still true!

Heres a clue. My 15 month old grandson hates naps and has been that way for several months. My 9 month old granddaughter still takes 2 naps a day and is grumpy if she doesnt get her sleep!
