I would recommend something on Setubal region, that you'd probably love, and that is Sesimbra. It's basically a former fisherman village that turned into a tourist city, it has both a great beach and environment, and also some of the greatest fish on the country, mostly really fresh grilled fish but it's amazing.

Portugal is an extremely underrated country. I can only imagine that the main reason is that Spain is right next to it on the Iberian Peninsula and everyone knows Spain, not Portugal.
