I have lived 5 years in London and I can tell you 5 things I hate:
1) The Tube sucks! Every day there are delays and cancellations and it's overcrowded most of the time; and during weekend. engineering works everywhere!
2) The healthcare is appalling! coming from Europe, I wonder how doctors get their degrees in the UK. Mail order?
3) Expensive
4) The food is good, if you know where to go. Food poisoning of various degree is more common than in other big cities where I have lived.
5) English arrogance: for some reason they think they're the best, when clearly they're not.
To be fair, now 5 things I love:
1) Museums
2) Parks
3) Pubs
4) Some restaurants
5) I don't live there any more: -D
Great city for tourists, but living there sucks, IMHO.

I flew into Heathrow Airport a few years ago on a stopover to Ireland, was hassled by airport police/security. Got to my gate and realised my wallet and passport was missing. While sitting there at the gate, lost and very annoyed at our long time enemies(the Brits) a very nice London employee of Heathrow Airport arrived, breathless after running around looking for me returned my wallet with all the cash and my passport. That one act changed my mind about a people I had hated for over 30 years. Thank you, whoever you are. Much respect.

Lovely, stunning freewheeling capital city. Did you know that many of the parents in London ignore traffic laws with their children and that many of these parents are civil servants? Youth in England deserve better, from their civil servants. Let's have a robust and vigorous attitude towards public safety and end the current freewheeling capital city phenomenon, by doubling traffic fines in capital cities. What do you think?

Where numbnuts (usually septics) have to say London England, or Paris France.
Most educated people know where the fck London and Paris are, we don't need to say what country they are in.
Oh sorry, this is for the benefit of all y'all in New York - that's America, or San Franbadisco, yeah that's in Americana too.
That's not irritating at all.
Please cease with this numbnuttery.

Mark, you've inspired me to travel! I've organized a school trip to Ireland, Austria and Germany for 2 weeks in July of 2016. Unfortunately, a lot of people can't attend without serious fundraising. If you happen to read this, could you please take a look at our page? It's www. gofundme. com/nrhschoraletrip. I watch your videos every day and they are so informative! Thanks so much: )

As a Londoner, the only kind of tourists that invoke my wrath are the badly behaved groups of schoolchildren from mainland Europe, like the ones you had behind you at the end there. They take up the whole pavement, are rude, abnoxious and loud. And the teachers just let them get away with it.

No British-isms? That's more American's ignorance of stereotyping us thinking we go round saying pip pip old chap wearing bowler hats, dancing with chimney sweeps and drinking teas constantly.
Truth is culturally there's very little difference culturally between any English speaking nation.

Hate number 6.
The big ben is temporaly covered in scaffolding, and will probably remain like that until 2021. Although on the parliament website it is written, that the upper part of the elizabeth tower will be undercovered as the project progress.

I grew up in the UK and every time I go to America I still have to constantly tell myself to look the other way crossing the road! I've had way too many near misses but it really is the most simple thing to avoid as long as you stay alert about it
