we head to Disney World's Typhoon Lagoon water park to see if October is the best time to plan a trip. The crowd levels were really low, the slide wait times were all 5 minutes and under and there was basically no one in the lazy river and wave pool with us. It was an awesome day to visit the park! We were able to go on all the slides multiple times except for the family raft ride, because I was there alone, you can go on as a single rider but they will put you on with another group and we didn't want to film on the ride with people we didn't know. But the family raft ride, Miss Adventure Falls, is a great ride! I'm bummed that I missed out on trying the Fall Flavors menu, but we'll be back for sure to try those items! Hopefully this vlog will help when you're planning your next trip to Typhoon Lagoon

Waterpark advice please - were going to Disney World for our honeymoon in March, we only have chance to do 1 water park and we cant decide whether to pick typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach.
We like the slides with inflatable rings, but nothing too dark, and dont like the high straight down slides. We also love Christmas though and mini golf.
Which would you recommend, if you had to choose 1 park to do, which would you pick?

I think its always just been my particular raising that water parks or pools are just not good after Labor Day my mammaw always said no swimming after Labor Day or u will get sick, but we never lived in Florida so maybe the water parks are slow after Labor Day, due to some just dont think of being at the pool after Labor Day cause all of our pools here close after Labor Day, but who knows maybe its just me.

While I think my 4 year old could have fun there, my worst nightmare is after the first one he's scared not to do any more water slides, then I kick myself the rest of the day wondering why we didn't just stay at the resort pool if we wanted to get wet.

Yeah that really bummed me out when I was there alone that I couldnt go on misadventure Falls unless they paired me up with a family or another group. A few times they would so I got to go on it a few times but it was a little awkward.

Hey Tim, I see you were using a Go-Pro 5? I am planning on purchasing a go-pro, so my question is do you know the difference between the different versions? I saw the Go-Pro Hero 7 is out. I know your footage is fantastic!

According to the New York post, Michael Eisner was eyeing a leading music publisher called Windswept Pacific. This was published on the 4th of march 1999. Could be that or could just be a coincidence

The last time I was at Typhoon Lagoon (Mid July) my family and I were all wearing water shoes on the slides and didn't get told to take them off. Is this a new rule that's come into place?

Whats wrong with riding as a single rider with some random people? I was at Volcano bay on my own and did it all the time. The ride ops simply put you to any raft on which is a seat free

I'm assuming that you are responsible for picking up your dog's poop at that dog walk, so it shouldn't build up and smell unless you get too many people who just DGAF.

Thank you for the info about water shoes. I had no idea you have to take them off to slide. Good to know ahead of time for the kiddos.
