Todays vlog is day 2 of our New Smyrna Beach vacation! We start with breakfast at the hotel, the Riverview provides a continental breakfast that is delivered right to your door each morning. We had breakfast out on the balcony and watched the boats go by, it was such a nice way to start the day. Then we head over to the spa to take a look at the facility and the mineral pool area. Then we headed out to the beach, which is about a half a mile away from the hotel. Jackson loves the ocean and we love how much fun he has when we go to the beach. Hes a little water baby for sure! Then we had some lunch at the Third Wave Cafe, which is quickly becoming one of our favorite places in New Smyrna. The food is so so good! Then we head back to the hotel so Jackson can nap and Tim heads out for a dolphin sighting boat tour! The tour is put on by the Marine Discovery Center (more info is linked below) We end the night with dinner at Clancys Cantina, who is on Flagler and it was really good! Weve had such great food this trip so far. And of course we had to get some candy from the New Smyrna Candy Co. on the way home lol. We had a great second day and

Very nice how they packed, and brought you, breakfast - I'd sit right out on those rocking chairs on the porch while eating it, and having a great cup of coffee, just like you di - always do that, if I have a room with a balcony, or even sit out there in the afternoon, with an iced coffee - used to do that in the rocking chairs outside the Beach Club, or Wilderness, or Animal Kingdom Lodges, even when I wasn't staying there. Now THAT'S the LIFE! :) Nice pool area, looks very relaxing.
Love how much Jackson loves the water - whether pool, or ocean - must make both of you native Floridians feel SO happy! :) I feel happy just watching him! :) Loved seeing the dolphins, and learning all those facts - thank you so much for sharing that with all of us! Love Jackson's tidiness, and his organizing skills - let's hope he holds on to that as he gets older! lol Not a Mexican food person, but dinner looked pretty good. That candy shop was so pretty, and had so much good-looking stuff (drooling) reminds me of walking the main drag in Bar Harbor, ME.
Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

Jackson has no fear of that water. It will be fun to see Tim teach him to swim. Do you guys have an alarm on your slider to the pool? It is nice watching Jackson experience new things and seeing the joy and wonder on his face. That Irish Cantina is kinda cool. Wonder what the story is there. The hotel is adorable and the woodwork is amazing in those hallways!

My dad used to live next to a drawbridge like that and I'd definitely agree the sound is super comforting. Also took me until this video to remember Tim's shorts are also swim trunks. In the Margaritaville video I was like, why is Tim dressed and in the pool lol.

New Smyrna Beach looks nice! I'd like to go. I really want to go to Marco Island before New Smyrna though. They have freshwater dolphins in the canal there too! It's probably the same canal.

Can I just say, I really appreciate seeing you guys wear masks still while in big crowds: ) Literally NO ONE in these videos are wearing them and it makes me so nervous!

You needed to take Jackson to manatee park in New Smyrna. My grandkids love it. Also look up cassadaga spiritualist park, love to see you do video there in future.

I miss Florida! We used to go every year since my daughter was 3 years old and the last time was 2018. Hopefully one day we will be able to meet you guys!

As a Brit it confuses me so much that you can drive onto the beach, that's not really a thing over here (unless you're launching or picking up a boat)

So glad the tour guide mentioned fertilizers causing our water issues! Cant educate people enough on spraying toxins & fertilizers.
