OMG - heart melted when Jackson grabbed Jenn[s face and said I'm OK PRECIOUS! As it was when he chuckled at Tim saying he'd race him - his chuckle was like Yeah, right, you're NOT gonnna beat me. And - as always - brings my heart so much joy to see his love of being around, and playing in water - always makes me smile! I love coconut shrimp too, Jenn (one of the few seafood items I'll eat, and I much prefer tartar sauce too. Jackson was livin' the life, kicked back in his lounger, eating a min corn dog - he looked like a real BALLER! LOL
Gorgeous sunsets! I've not been to HI yet, but have heard you MUST visit the North Shore for the spectacular beauty, and the town of Hale'iwa specifically for the shave ice place there. I've also hard of an amazing breakfast anytime place called Anna Miller's. Now I'm HANGRY! LOL. Loved seeing the snorkeling, and watching you go down the slides, Tim, so thank you so much for sharing! Loved Mickey & Minnie's holiday outfits! Heart melted AGAIN at Jackson dancing at the ukulele class!
Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to the 3 of you. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

The hand symbol Drew does at 24: 23 has a really interesting origin!
It's called The Shaka Sign, it originated from a man from the East side of Oahu called Hamana Kalili who lost three fingers in a sugar mill accident in the early 1900's. The accident only left him with his thumb and his little finger.
He would tell stories that a shark bite off fingers to scare/entertain the kids, pretending his two fingers were the eyes of a hammer head shark, he'd make his hand swim chanting 'shark eyes! shark eyes! ' which eventually evolved into 'Shaka. '
The gesture caught on from people imitating him by folding down their fingers and here we are 120 years later, still doing this gesture!

I'm loving catching up on your Aulani videos! We went in October for my birthday and I feel like I get to relive my trip through your sweet family! We took the Ukulele lessons as well and ended up buying one to take home. Can't wait to see you guys make your ears! Leah (assistant in your Ukulele class) led our Mickey Ears class and she was absolutely fantastic! Now on to binge more of your videos. :)

Hilarious that you from Florida say hard to feel Christmas out in Hawaii. Since you left, our Florida temperatures have only been rising. Currently 80

The music added at the snorkeling part is the same as the funky veggie song for the baby sensory videos and my son lost his mind being so excited.
