The Mediterranean is possibly the most visited region if they counted that way instead of by countries. These are all great spots but Dubrovnik and Santorini get so many summer tourists now that your may or September advice should be applied. Someday if you're back in Greece you should check out the island of Amorgos, known for its cliff diving spots.

Im from Rome and its the first time Ive seen Ponza included in a foreign video.
Ponza (and the other fantastic islands of that archipelago, for example Palmarola) is unknown to most Italians but its a paradise.
Avoid it during especially during the last week of July
