Mark Wiens Banana Chips - Worldwide Shipping Available Now: During our time in Lhasa, Tibet, we stayed at one of the best traditional Tibetan style guest houses in Lhasa. #Lhasa #Tibet #hotel Hang-Suk Trichang Labrang Hotel - Situated in the old city of Lhasa, very close to Barkhor Street, this is a fantastic traditional Tibetan hotel. I like how they've preserved the traditional building, the courtyard, and the rooms. Our room was huge, and in this video I'll give you a full tour of our mega-room in a traditional Tibetan style hotel in Lhasa. Thank you to Travel China & Tibet they sponsored my trip to Tibet, and they did an amazing job to cater to the exact things I wanted to do. Highly recommended when you visit Tibet

The place you stayed at is the repossessed home of a former revered lama, the Trijang Rinpoche. So what you actually did was give money to Chinese settlers who are obliterating Tibetan culture and using it to make money. The fact that there-s a bar there is appalling. It-s a good idea to research places before using them. The western equivalent would be to stay at a renowned Rabbi-s former home in Berlin if the Germans had won the war. And yes, that is how Tibetans see this- the Trijang Rinpoche was a deeply respected figure.

I really enjoy your vlogs. I know Ying does a lot of your camera work, but I love seeing her and Micah in the shots. They seem so happy, you need to show more of them. Micah has some of the coolest faces. A friend and I go out to eat at aThai restaurant here. I always wear my If it's not spicey I'm not eating shirt. I get a lot of commits about it. Also how many people actually watch your vlogs too.

Mark, FYI-
If you tell your Family Practice Doctor, in advance, that you-re going to be at high altitude, he/she can prescribe you some acetazolamide (Diamox) pills. Start taking them about 2 days prior to being at elevation, and continue to take it as prescribed, and you can prevent or reduce the effects of being at high altitude. It would make things much more comfortable for you. -

FREE TIBET! Communist China tours will not show Mark or us the true oppression Tibetians live with under Communism colonization for decades. They light themselves on fire to protest against the oppression even now. Communism never allows freedom of speech, erases people-s history and culture, and manipulate and censors just how sick they are to the world.

Wow, I have been watching you eat every time and surprised that how much you can eat at one time. I know that you are young and definitely you can eat more while you are young but still you eat too much but you are keeping your weight in balanced. Thanks for saying Tibet and Tibetans unlike many who are scared to say Tibet or Tibetans.

This hotel was previously His Holiness Trijang Rinpoche's private residence (Labrang) before china invaded Tibet in 1959. HH Trijang Rinpoche is the one who composed the Tibetan National anthem and tutor of current Dalai Lama. He is regarded as a main figure in Tibetan history. The current reincarnation resides in Vermont, U. S. A.

How glorious that you are in Tibet! and how colorful the hotel! I love the beam paintings and your room! Much as I would love to travel there, I wouldn't be able to now with my disabilities, so this Mark, is the next best thing. Once more you've taken me to a part of the world that I dream of. Bless you!

It's the first time I've heard Mark ever say some food type was terrible. but. He redeems himself with a suggestion that an -improvement- could be made to the breakfast menu. Now that is an honest review and there is nothing wrong with a food reviewer to disagree with something on the menu.
