Luckily poison ivy is rare where I live. A word about using plants vs. ice is that the anti-inflammatory properties of the plantain will help the skin reaction heal faster, but the ice will stop the itching much faster by numbing the skin. So it would be best to use both. Assuming you have a choice.

Will you guys ever do a short video of what you are studying/ studied (if at all? I'm very curious.
Great video btw! I can't recall myself ever being affected by poison-ivy, or other poisonous plants while trekking it out in the woods. Still, good knowledge to have.

Just catching up on your back episodes, and wanted to add a note about poison ivy. The oil in the vines doesn't go dormant in winter, so be careful if cutting wood. Getting it in your lungs from smoke inhalation is very serious.

If there are no plants to use, hand sanitizer will work on Poison Oak Im certain it will work on other plant induced rashes, as the alcohol dries the area out and the allow helps to heal the skin
