Solo Winter Tent Camping in the Snow trep53: I-ve winter weekend camped many times, I enjoy it. However I only winter backpacked a few times and it-s a different -animal- entirely but exciting. I-m amazed you don-t bring a topographical trail map and compass. I don-t want to be critical because you are happy with your trip and everything works out ok. Maybe I-m just old school but I never trust trail signs and memory for navigation. I know you have a gps but I don-t trust them either.

Hi Robby, I found it after listening to you again. Tinna/Terra from Final Fantasy 6. Someone wrote this Song is literally what hope sounds like. When all is lost. When I was a kid and sometime as an adult in these trying times it feels like all is lost sometimes. But this Song gives one hope that better days are coming. Thanks Robby for a Great Video.

Great! So beautiful! I walked on my elliptical to get inspiration while watching. Question - what rei jacket is that? It looks quite warm and protective. Is it down? Waterproof? Windproof? How about hood? I-ve gotten ones that rubber band around your face which I don-t like. Also some that are just too big and floppy. Thanks!

Hey Robby you need to get yourself one of those double sided tarps. The one that have a silver side to them. Put that down first with the silver side up and then your tent. You will notice a difference on the body warmth reflected back to you. Plus it protects the bottom of your tent.

Have you ever heard of Missing 411? You should always carry a personal locater beacon and firearm with you, especially on a solo trip. If you tripped and broke a leg in this weather, not good. Always tell someone when and where you are going and when you will return.

Hey Robby, I have the exact same thoughts you mentioned - 19: 51, but, funny enough, looking at what you and the adventure archives group do is amazing in itself to me. You guys give me the inspiration to one day hike and explore nature all around. LOVE THE VID!

I've never done a snow hike and it was a magical journey to follow along with you. What you said about music as a kid really resonated with me too. Aerith's theme from FF VII is maybe the most impactful song I've ever heard. Great credits song too!

Wow. That intro was breathtaking man. Your AA crew nordhouse ep was amazing but this just captivated the beauty and brutality of that winter environment. This is one of your best videos ever, and the score was perfect! Hats off to ya!

I used to think I was a bad hiker for always being excited for the next break to eat or snack, glad I'm not the only one always ready to enjoy the food. Our first stop on the way home is always food - Love your vids!
