Winter Nature Hike with Ambient Sounds - Wind, Snow, Water, Forest Lisa: This was very different from what we're used to viewing, but in a good way. As others have commented, it really did feel more like I was there. I do feel we are missing some commentary, an explanation here and there. For example if I hadn't seen the other video, this video would leave me wondering where exactly you are in the world, why did you choose that trail, where are the others, why you chose your camp spot, how do you feel about the temperature, what are you eating LOL. Perhaps we can have the best of both worlds the Ambient sound AND a bit of Robbie explaining his surroundings or thoughts every 5 minutes. What do you all think of that?

Your videos have been a comfort and an escape for me during rough times. Thank you for your hard work, and for sharing your passion for nature. Every episode brings a feeling of comradery and sense of adventure, both of which have been missing for a lot of people this past year. They bring back memories and feelings from my own past hikes, and give me hope for future trips.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for going out into the freezing cold and wind to take us on an adventure! i have never seen the ocean with snow! i loved the peace and natural sounds of the forest. i live in FLORIDA so i will never get to see the beautiful snowy forests. its actually kinda scary to a Florida person to think of being out there alone like that in the snow. stay safe!

I love this video, the beautiful sounds really take me there. More of a direct experience, without the filter (or benefit) of music and narration. Not better, just different and something I'd like to see more of. What was it like for you? Did you listen more when you were out there? Did you choose shots differently? I'm curious. Thank you for making this, Robby.

I liked both videos! I would watch both kinds of videos on a regular basis. Your next to last song on the music/voice version was EPIC! But I see different things when there-s only ambient sound, and it feels more like I-m hiking with you cause my hikes ARE that quiet. Love both! Thanks for your artistry! Stay well!

Loved this version. Similar to the greater visual appreciation one gets from a good black & white photo, the ambient video left me with a greater appreciation for the beautiful landscapes you visited without the -distraction- of listening to speech at the same time. Well done!

No offense, but i'm kinda distracted by the music when i watch your crew hiking. I love relaxing videos, that's why i hike, to leave culture behind and see nature. I hope to see more offmusic, more ambience sound videos in the future. :) Keep going guys!

I watched this one, and the other one with the music, dialogue, and occasional voiceover, and this one made me feel much colder. I'm watching this on a cool, rainy September day in Minnesota, and it causes me to look toward the approaching winter with dread!

Love the nature sounds, but I also really like the voiceover and the banter when all of you are hiking together. May be arrive at a middle-ground: regular AA videos with the usual chatting, but also more nature sounds? Thank you.

Now that is what I like. No need for talking on a hike. Immerse yourself fully like nothing else exists right now. Going back home sometimes sucks though. Enjoyed this man, hard work going back and forth to retrieve the camera.
