Today was not a normal flying experience. Come and experience what it's like to fly onboard the Russian made Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Business Class. Unfortunately things didn't quite got to plan which resulted in a very different travel day. I begin my day in Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport after staying overnight in the airport transit hotel. First we'll check out the Aeroflot Business Class lounge before boarding our flight to Poland. I'm reviewing Aeroflot's Business Class product today, which happens to offer one of the best soft and hard products in Europe. Seats even on narrow body jets are proper business class, unlike many of the blocked middle's you'll get throughout the rest of the continent. As usual on these trip reports, i'll look at all elements of the experience, from boarding, inflight service, food and seat comfort. Follow me on IG: will. luxurytravel

I had a similar plane breaking down experience back in 2015. My family and I had a business trip to Singapore so we took Philippine Airlines. If memory serves me right, it was either an Airbus A321 or Airbus A320 assigned to our flight that day. I was assigned to sit beside my grandfather and the moment I sat down in our assigned seat, he told me that he wanted to be back at our assigned waiting area just to watch the NBA game (I will explain more of this later. Plane was full so we were ready to leave but I started to smell smoke inside our plane. After 30-45 minutes of waiting, our plane was finally push backed into the tarmac but we waited in the tarmac for another 10-20 minutes. By this point of time, the scent of the smoke was getting stronger and other passengers began noticing the smell. As I looked at the window, I've noticed that the plane was heading back to its assigned gate. Once fully parked, the pilot made an announcement saying that there was something wrong with the controls of the cockpit so they were forced to return to the gate. We were told to leave the plane and head back to the assigned waiting area for our new plane. What was even shocking was that many of the passengers, instead of being happy that a new plane was assigned to us, were happy to be back to the airport just to watch the NBA game. I, on the other, was glad that we didn't take off as an accident could have happened to our flight if we had took off.

The same thing happened to me on a BA flight from Heathrow. The plane broke down so I had to stay overnight.
The less said about BA'S arrangements the following day the better.
I should have arrived in Seattle at 4. 30 pm on Mon, it was 10. 45 pm on Tues!
Their cabin crew were so rude and unhelpful.

This remind me of my first flight. . 30min of turbulence and having a window seat I couldn't see any further than the wings, when lightnings and rain went really heavy on the plane people started to pray, man that was intense and I was all by myself

I would fly the SuperJet, I like the sense of danger that it can hold and as a former Australian Air Force cadet I appreciate some of the luxuries you gain when on that aircraft much more than a C-130's standard seating.

For anyone wondering, the burnt plane in the start of the video was Aeroflot flight 1492.
AF1492 landed at the airport when the fuselage burst.
AF1492s rear was in flames.
34 people died.

I too would have been a little wary about flying the superjet with its record, one thing about Warsaw airport -Chopin- is the musician, not as in chopping wood. :)

1: 30 You haven't been to sweden. Literally no one wears a mask, I can be out for hours and see not a single one.

Wow! You are a brave traveler. No way would I ever fly via Aeroflot. They've had a bad rep since the '70's.

One time when I was getting back from Florida the plane needed a new engine so a 10 hour delay was held
