Had a bad experience checking in for their HKG flight at NRT (they weighed everyone's hand luggage like the low cost carrier from hell - on a flight that was maybe 35% full, plus you know duty free, which I never have, can weigh plenty too & my checked bag was way below the limit.
Was partially my fault too for not handling things the -Asian way- but arguing my point. The staff handled it worse every step of the way IMHO. I had some delicate items in my hand luggage, hence I wasn't my usual cool about this unexpected turn of events. Told them, I'd never fly with them again.

Not the most luxurious but I ALWAYS fly business on this airline for the service. I always feel welcome and swiftly attended to. I fly at least 3 times a year to Africa. They offered me twice a free ticket 1st class on losing my luggage. I always got sorted in the end.

Ethiopian is one of the best world class airlines, like Qatar airlines and Emirates. they have the latest aircraft technologies including Boeing 788-900 and Airbus 350-900.

Africans don-t actually build any of this, its entirely built and set up for them. Any infrastructure that exists in Africa is built and maintained by Europeans.

Flew Ethiopian from Cape Town to Addis Ababa and then onto London. Excellent service, great lounge in Addis and flights on time and very clean. Will fly again.

Although I used their economy class, their service makes up for it by miles. Lovely airline, cheap and offers the fastest route to your destination

I flew the ethiopian A350 and they had INCREDIBLE service, good food and a good pilot. Now it's one of my favs and i love it. 9/10 Airline
