Interesting. I am headed to Safari (Arusha, Serengeti, Ngorongo and Lake Mayana) arriving in nairobi and ending in seychelles in Dec. I am looking forward to experiencing these aweseome places. As an Afro Cuban living in America, these places have been my bucketlist places. I've been to other parts (8 Countries) of subsahara but never to tanzania, kenya nor Seychelles. I am so looking forward to it.

Just a quick comparison: a lion pride's territory can be up to 100 square miles which i just researched to be almost exactly the area of this crater So Mufasa might just sit on the edge an say everything the light touches. is our lands and it would fit perfectly This only makes this crater more awesome to me, i didn't expect the numbers to work so perfectly

Good photography. Captures how awesome this place is. At night the clouds come down on the rim where the hotels are. Total fog. No giraffes, but most other animals. Used to be a Maasai village there. Flies everywhere even on eyelids - not bothering to fly away, just go up and down when they blink. Yuk Lions bigger than normal; easy pickings.
