Colmar, Alsace, France in 4K Ultra HD

Rating: 4.5; Vote: 2
Colmar is famous for its wonderfully preserved old town, with half-timbered medieval and early Renaissance buildings, uneven cobblestone streets, gothic 13th-century church. The Alsace region has been alternated between France and Germany over the years and the old town presents amazing mix of both cultures. Colmar is on the Alsace Wine Route. Recorded September 2018 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX100.

Pretty But they don't speak English, and I didn't see any McDonald's. Average salary is below 25, 000 - the poverty level in the U. S.; and the tax rate is around 45%, and unemployment, while markedly way better than France on average, is 8. 6% (who'd work for chump wages and pay those taxes. Not even going to look at housing prices and real estate fees and taxes; probably cramped and damp, 1600's technology, like those streets that even if you could drive on them, would destroy my Lambos in a hurry. No wonder everyone is walking, even those who could afford a bicycle or roller skates. I'll settle for the post cards they sell. And the video, which is a fabulous make-up job for a pig of a town.

It's very beautiful. You do realize that you didn't mention the most well known French artist Auguste Bartholdi and his own museum / house, his monuments, his statues AND the statue of liberty? Why is that? Good job anyway but please mention Auguste Bartholdi in your description: )

Very nicely shot, the tail end cathedral in the late sun was very impressive. At the risk of being a barbarian, I find some parts of Europe a bit too chocolate box for my taste. The swans in the water looked good, nature shining through.

I wish I could give you some kind of award. It's not just the way you capture the scene, it's how you seamlessly integrate music that compliments and seems to reflect that scene so well.

Wonderful Absolutely beautiful. The music, the talent of the filmmaker and his eye for detail. My Father was there in World War II and always talked about AlsaceA literally perfect video.
