Re the pax who flew in from Ibiza & stayed airside (instead of seeing immigration) and then got on flight to LCY. I used to work at MAN T3, and this only happened when someone from the airline or their handling company (wrongly) used their staff pass to let a pax or re positioning staff enter the departure lounge. This is a strict no no, yet the worst that ever happened was the company would get a bit of a telling off and a few weeks later it would happen again (either with the same or different company. Bet it still goes on today.

We used to fly over to Frankfurt in the ERJ145, both from Bristol and East Midlands, and I always found the ride very pleasant. My fear of flying has become more pronounced over time, and I was surprised how safe I felt in the smaller jets in comparison to the larger planes.
I believe there was even a short phase when they operated from BHX to FRA, killing off the turboprop connection that had existed previously. On one of the flights from EMA, there were eight of us, including the lady who was cabin crew and the two pilots.

I've never understood Manchester flights when pendolinos take 2 hours 4 minutes short flight but by time you check in land it's very much same time. Can understand Glasgow etc. I wish Bournemouth had few routes or Southampton to Norway would be epic I know wideroe fly Liverpool to Bergen would be awesome if you reviewed it

Another great one, Noel. But the light circles. I was waiting for This is the voice of the Mysterons. (1960s British Kids TV Sci-Fi puppet show) That's probably the best cabin window view of an approach into LCY! I'd love to have a front row seat for that approach, but I guess both seats are taken.

This flight has gone out at a full 98 before hand but 9 times out of 10 on average about 30 people are booked on it. This flight does operate in the winter when BACF send a plane on a Friday evening to operate flights to CMF and SZG from MAN on a Saturday and back to LCY on Sunday

I thought about booking TAP Portugal's once daily run from Lisbon to City (for my upcoming mileage run in Oct) but it was of course on an E190 and actually a bit more expensive, plus I've always wanted to fly on their A330 to Heathrow: )

This was fully booked today thanks to a combination of Easter, and no trains between London and Manchester. One cabin crew member looking after 12 business class passengers, the other one doing drinks and snacks for 86 economy passengers!

One of the best airport in terms of accessibility. I have used it for several times to Zurich and Geneva. I like the immigration desk at most where it takes few minutes especially if you hold a nationality other than EU and EEA.

Such a beautiful clear evening for a flight. Id love to do something like this for my first ever flight. Obv I cannot arrange the weather to suit me but this is ideal for my first time in a plane.

Brilliant I live 5 miles from LCA and love flying and that prica aint bad at all.
I don't know anyone in Manchester but would be nice to visit.

They should advertise that. It's cheaper and faster than a train, and holiday makers often take one way city hops. I actually could have used this if I had known about it!
