Flying a Plane over LAX (LOS ANGELES INTL) Away: Great to see the expanded version of this part of your 80hrs trip. I for one would like to see more expanded versions of old reports to keep us going through lockdown. Have been revisiting some of the older trips and there is some fabulous content to delve into.
Really looking forward to you getting that PPL and taking us on some trips in your own plane. I hit 50 last yr and am wanting to try a flying lesson myself so I would love to see where you take us. What are the chances of you flying around the world solo? I used to be a Gary Numan fan as a kid and he did a RTW trip which he describes in his autobiography. very interesting reading.

Having worked for a major US airline for over 37 years, I have been around pilots for more than half of my life. You would fit right in with your sense of accuracy and the ability to think on your feet. I do not have a PPL due to the fact I think flying itself would be amazing but those ATC people and their constant radio chatter take all of the fun out of it. Of course they are a necessity, but it makes it seem to me that it is really 2 jobs: flying the aeroplane and talking on the radio. LUV your work.

I didn't know you were a licensed pilot as well. Very cool! Love watching your videos! This one was especially cool because I learned to fly on that very plane you flew in. It was part of a fleet of planes at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL. Hence the Foxtrot Tango registration.
I then went on to instruct on that group of aircraft before leaving for the airlines in 2000.
Super cool to see it in good shape and still flying! Great video!

Great video Noel and I bet you are itching to get back behind the controls! Ford, Travolta, Kardashian. name dropper! Did you swap seats at some stage? Amazing how you can fly over one of the busiest airports in the world like that. ! Great scenery and well captured! And swapped seats again! Thanks Noel for a different type of video. really enjoyed it!

When this pandemic is over, you HAVE TO TRY QATAR AIRWAYS QSUITE ON THE A350-1000, I've been on it multiple times and it's by far the best business class seat IN THE WORLD! Also, the Al Mourjan Qatar Airways business class lounge in Doha Hamad Airport is soooo cool! I'd love to see you make a video of that!

Typical town and city governments. We don't need airports so they shut them down. They allow building and development to encroach the approach and departure paths hence displaced thresholds. Pilots need to constantly educate the elected officials of the importance of small airports.

I love this. And you're in my neck of the woods. Another awesome flight could be over all of the stores aircraft in Victorville/Mojave that are on the runways and taxiways. If you're in the area again. Thanks for all the awesome content!

Hey noel, good expansion of the 80hrs film. Must've been awsome. Will you be confident when the world starts up again to carry on flying. I have to admit im nervous possibly flying to florida in August. Cheers mate, keep it up

using highways as reference lol. Trying to imagine it over here:
-Follow the course of A20 and turn north above B2068.
-Do I follow old A20, or M20 once A20 turns into M20 at junction 12?

So cool you got to fly out of SMO before they close! Its got to be one of my favorite general aviation airports. I went to elementary and middle school right under the flight path!

I hope you enjoyed coming down to San Diego. I always like experiencing the city through someone else's point of view, since I live here so it's very different in terms of outlook

Did you re-upload this video because you got a sponsor but couldn't film a new video for the sponsor due to the lock down? because I swear I seen this video before

if you were on a commercial on a boeing or airbus flight and both pilots became incapacitated and there was a call emergency could you fly the plane and land it

Loaded 9th May 2020 but I have seen this a while ago? Am I going mad? Great video none the less, reminds me of AA-5 flight I did in New Zealand many years ago.

At least you weren't flying from John Wayne to Camarillo! 'Liberal airspace' and 'special flight rules' were the undoing of the Kobe Bryant flight.

You can't say anything bad about Noel. He's a living breathing legend that would do anything for someones enjoyment. Top quality video as always

I thought he said that 4 seater had state of the art avionics, he's easily pleased isn't he, and an electric trim switch is not an autopilot lol.

I knew I recognized that wing in the thumbnail. Ali mentioned to me once that you and he were friends. My Tiger is the same year as his.

Originally from San Diego, but living in Japan now. Video made me a little homesick. Thanks for the upload. I enjoy your content. :)
