I have a BA business class flight from EWR to LHR in June and had high hopes for review of the substance of the BA business class experience. I know you filled up at the club room in Calgary, but it would have been nice to know what sort of standard meal was served on the flight, what the noise levels were, how well the attendants provided service, whether you had direct access to the aisle from your seat and so on. It certainly wasn't BA's fault that the landing was delayed, neither their fault that you booked your train so tightly, not allowing for the possible hour delay in takeoff from Calgary and the hour odd delay on the flight line in LHR before getting to the stand. Sorry, but there's room for improvement.

I flew BA business a couple of weeks ago and it was by far the WORST business class I've ever flown and yes, I've flown PLENTY of coach. It doesn't come close to even American Airlines let alone Cathay Pacific, Emirates, etc. The space is like a coffin. you're wedged in between a divider and a window or someone else. My divider didn't even work and I had to crawl over two people to get to the toilet with no aisle access. Food awful, even my cutlery was dirty! When you pay that much to fly in comfort or for luxury, sometimes even for medical need, airlines need to deliver! BA is falls WAY short. Save your money with them and fly economy, which I did as well, and it was actually better or find a better airline.

It's always a pain trying to plan cheap advanced train tickets with flights. I had flight in February where it was on time so I had a two hour wait at St Pancras. Better than booking an earlier train and the flight being late.
There's always open return tickets, but they're a rip off. My problem was that I only needed a single train journey back from the airport, and single open tickets are just as expensive as open returns. Double rip off. Hence my advanced booking for a discount single on a specific train

I miss flying and hope next year we can get out and about again. I hate those seats - if you need to get up from the low flat position you have to try and wiggle down to where the ottoman is and then clamber over someone else's feet to say go to the bathroom, and because of the lack of storage you have to also rearrange all your stuff. Service is/was patchy.

Awesome video, I've never flown business, and probably never will. The ultimate dilemma - to spend all that cash then sleep through it? I think I'd rather have an uncomfortable night lying on my fat wallet: ) If you can afford ofc, it's the only way to go! Although never been impressed with the BA offering compared to other airlines.

I found Club World service patchy - since everything is served by tray the crew are running up and down with trays, and dont seem to have time to provide drinks and refills. The seat I found cramped and difficult to turn over to sleep on my side. Very much a poor relation to the likes of Emirates or Singapore.

Like most, am not a fan of their seating & not being able to see out of the window. It looks more cramped that BA Business Class. A, i right in thinking anyone can pay to use the club house? Will be interesting to see a comparison of the new Virgin Upper Class & the new BA Business Class when they are operational.

I recently started to book a return flight in Club World, from ATL to LHR on a 787-9. The ticket price was $7000 for two of us, however BA had the gaul to try and charge me an extra $420 for seat selection! Needless to say I canceled the booking and re-booked on Delta.

You should have asked BA to fly you closer to home since they made you miss your train, or at least give you a major discount on an air ticket home instead of the train. They used to give out a free car transfer for premium tickets, so it wouldn't be that different.

Just a spot of advice; youll find there are people out there that would hate it when you skip past the taking off bit or speed it up, as well as, would rather hear the sounds of the air rushing past the windows or natural flight sounds rather than music overlaid.

Interesting review. Nothing like the old Club Class on 767 of course and yes, I did notice that your seating area was quite scuffed. I wonder if BA reinstalled old seats in these aircraft, and also wonder if they have now been upgraded too.

The sooner BA upgrade their hard product in Business the better. This seat is 20+ years old and it shows, rubbish storage and if your in the middle seats you have climb over other passengers legs to get to the aisle when the seat is flat.

Ok so beer - run a bit first to get the spout cold, then 45 degree angle full blast (never turn it off) until it's almost full, as you near a full glass start to rotate to 90 degrees until you shut the tap
Bingo bango, proper pour

Booing a train that left st Pancras only 3 hours later was your own fault. Shouldve just got an any time ticket or left an extra hour. 3 hours is a stretch at the best of times to get from Heathrow to there. Always factor in delays.

When entering LHR as a business class passenger, are you allowed in the faster TSA screening line? I can't remember what it's called. I was allowed when I flew first class but didn't know about business class. thank you

What do I think of BA? Not too much. Good, Safe and pleasant Airline. What do I think about your train journey (not operated by BA. Pay the few pounds extra for an anytime day single?

For those that (unlike me) use these Airport Lounges (like the ones used by Noel on his trips, are all food & drink, plus amenities like sleeping pods, etc. included? Sorry for my ignorance.
