When I flew on Emirates it was the best experience in flying. They go out of their way to make you comfortable, and flying from the U. S to Dubai and on to Pakistan you better fly Emirates for that long journey.

I was excited cos I picked up a return flight on an A350-900 from MEL to CDG for $865USD with earning 100% on my frequent flyer miles and with a 32 seat pitch and now I see this and feel all deflated

Yeaaahh. I just looked up London to Kuala Lumpur, first class on Emirates, and it was over US$8, 000. I don't know how you got a ticket for US$1, 300, but it's not a normal fare.

NGL the centre units with the high definition screen Windows tripped me out a little bit, then I looked at my bank account and realised its never going to worry me anyway

Wow. $1300 for that trip! It would have cost me more to fly first class American Airlines(not even close in comparison) from Philly to Vegas in Feb. That's insane!

I prefer the decor of the a380 emirates first class.
They seem to have removed much of the signature Emirates walnut and cream from their new 777 suites.

Can't help but think of the waste of energy on powering those screens all the time. But then again, first class is hardly energy efficient in any format.
