How to Fly to the USA from Europe in 2021 Yanks: I guess towards the end of the video you hit the nail on the head as it were, with traveling over the past year or more things have been Constantly changing.
Me as a Brit wanted to get back to the states but was under the impression be had to self isolate in a hotel for 10 days, obviously at our own cost and if we did that in many places like LA or New York it would cost or could cost $2000 plus in hotels, obviously depending on where you stayed and in what type of Hotel.
I can imagine if it was on arrival at JFK on the airport complex in a hotel youd be looking at $200 plus per night Easy!
Ya dont need a PhD in math to figure out how much its going to cost you for 10 nights.
Buttttt I guess obviously that is or was the rules coming into America from the U. K. obviously you are Brits coming into America From Mexico.
Talk about it all being a confusing load of BS, that is Governments for you, the have PHDs in BS and confusing people!

Those wheelchairs should have been right there in the jet bridge waiting. You had every right to stand there until one came. Regardless of the pandemic restrictions, they also have to abide by the Americans With Disabilities Act. I used to work for the airlines and we were warned repeatedly to make sure wheelchairs were taken care of no matter what else was going on. Either way, how great you all got to go on this family trip together!

Well done to you all for getting there and whilst I love the US the hassle just puts me off. Now a cpl of things what did you mean Re the pooling of bags costing you more? Wheelchair assistance IS NOT an optional extra and do Delta wave to try a different excuse for awful service? Same as the buses, its absolutely nothing to do with covic now the worlds exude but everything to do with saving money

OMG Cancun airport has changes so much over the years, when we stayed in Miami about 20 years ago (we were Brits on holidays) we decided to pop over to Cancun for the weekend. Cancun airport them was really small with very little there. Now its quite lovely. I remember it was via Aeromexico and the meal served on board was the most amazing fresh fruit salad we had ever seen, stunning!

I had the privilege of flying directly from the UK to US (LHR-BOS) because Im a military child. It was my first time flying alone, and I have to say I had more trouble on ground in heathrow than in Boston Border Patrol! They were all supportive and glad to hear the accents again! Just a shame the borders arent open yet for everyone.

Your kids are so well behaved. Kudos to your parenting skills.
International travel for your kids is as normal to them as traveling to my parents cabin in the mountains was for me. I didn't have my passport until I was 24 and went to see my sister in the airforce in Germany for a month.

It's been announced that beginning in November international air travelers must be vaxed in order to fly into the states. What about U. S. citizens who have been living outside the states? Must they also be vaccinated before flying into the U. S?

. Rachel and Noel - the duo in the air. So nice to see you flying together. And what a family outing this one was.
. And, Honey, (at 18: 41) thank you for the sober reminder how tenuous our mortal life can become.

Of course the difference between how you usually travel when alone, and when youre with the tribe, is remarkable. What the real world has to endure when venturing abroad with family. You endured ot well.

I see. I was watching another video of yours and wondering how you made it to the US. This one explains it all. :-) I think there is another shorter route via Turkey. There is no ban on travel from Turkey.

A lot of airports had staffing issues during the reduced services, but im still baffled there were no pushers available at all. Still like that in some stations unfortunately this late in 2022.

Great video Noel thanks. Any of your family have the AstraZeneca vaccine? If so were any questions asked at immigration?
You make it look so easy. Look forward to more videos from this trip.

I thought Mexico was on the red list? Have friends that live in London that are trying to get back here to Florida. They were thinking 2 weeks in Bahamas then could fly here.

So nice to see your family Noel. I've recently succumbed to having to use wheelchairs in airports. Hope you were able to see the aquarium in Atlanta. It really is massive.

Delta is the only way to fly in the USA! They are heads above the rest, and will try to help you from pre-check in until you've returned from your trip!
reply

Great video!
I will be flying to Canada soon and staying there for 2 weeks. And then go to the United States! Good to see it works and you got no real problems.

reply

Good review Noel. As is already mentioned, most folks won't have enough money or holiday/vacation time to spend 2 weeks in Mexico, before a holiday in USA.
reply

It doesn't seem worth the trouble.
USA is highly overrated, in today's time more than ever.
Biden is running the place into the ground.

reply

WHY come here? Almost half the population are imbeciles! 74 million voted for trump last time, and its unlikely that they have changed at all.
reply

My sister in law and their kids didnt have any problems (besides weather delays) returning to US after spending over a month in Croatia.
