As a young child, my family moved to a farm in a small community in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. We were only there a handful of years, but I later learned why the hamlet was named Bergen and all my neighbours were Norwegian. I had been given a rare gift of being surrounded by the culture and ways that were continued by the progeny of the first Norwegian settlers in this area. They were a hardy, hardworking, ingenious people who ALWAYS had time to help their neighbour and it seemed like EVERYONE could either draw beautifully or knew how to play a stringed instrument. This made for many wonderful, impromptu, living room concerts. What an unknown privilege that I'm glad I finally came to appreciate. Thanks for a look at where they all originated from. Another great armchair trip. LLR

oh look, another ''humans are the main cause of climate change'' LIAR! sorry, but the sun is the main driver and we barely have a ''top up'' effect at best, we do pollute too much should monitor the ocean pollution and oxygen levels and cycle more and be more clean and sanitary and more focused on sustainability and recycling and less consumption. but any solution that even slightly violates inalienable natural GOD GIVEN freedoms, liberties and rights, ESPECIALLY firearm and defense rights, own and carry, open and concealed, is a non-starter. I am even ok with a one world government, no visas and travel/live where u want, and more centralized power on the macro stuff, but not the micro freedoms and rights!
