Me and my mate George went to the Bushcraft Camp to cook up some fresh Pheasant which George had shot on his farm. George shows you how he preps the Pheasant at camp, I get the fire going and we deep fry the bird in bread crumbs. We also have some beers too

You talk like you killed that bird a year ago and you've been saving it for this camping trip. You have a gun a knife an axe but no ciggarette lighter. You cant act like you're roughing it because you start a fire with a flint. That's like me saying i went camping last night because i left my bedroom window open. It doesn't work that way.

I could tell that you two had never done that before. You didn't field dress the bird, so the bird could make you sick. Cooking the bird is to each their own. But I won't be going camping with you two in charge. You youngster have MUCH to learn yet.

I usually put the bird or hen in warm water for few minutes then pluck the feathers, that is easier. The rest of the feathers I just burn it over fire not too much fire just to burn it

Pheasant has little fat frying it until charcoal black will make it tough and chewy not tender and tasty. Well food in England is usually bland unlike France.
