My Dad just made a primitive knife using real shark teeth from the Jaws of a Tiger Shark that he caught many years ago (Yes the shark was eaten. We took the knife to the Bushcraft Camp to test it out and see what it was capable of. We even cut up some mackerel and cooked it on the fire (how ironic - using shark teeth to cut up Mackerel) Hope you enjoy it folks

Very impressive stuff, really Hey, the pipe you use at the end to blow on the embers resembled what is called a bouffadou in French, which is a tradiotionnal Southern France wooden pipe used. well, to blow on fires. Is that a name for such a tool in English? I believe it is Basque, so there should be one (word for it) in Spanish as well, maybe even Italian. Anyway, nice video as always, I like watching you guys' stuff

Very good knife. has something of a leiomano. It was a wooden sword made from a solid branch, but with sharkteeth at the perimeter of the blade. The purpose of these was to get lodged in the target/enemy and do a great ammount of damage whilst the target was moving. The leiomano originates from the hawaii area.

I'm not surprised that the shark teeth cut through the fish like that; it's what they were designed for. I should think that it would break down if used for chopping but would stand up to any slicing/cutting job as long as you don't overstress the glue. What sort of glue did you use?

We were really surprised at how sharp that knife was. Had never even thought of using shark teeth for a knife, now this is really something to think about, and maybe even try to make from teeth gathered at the beach. Thanks for the video, great as always

What a great tool. Enjoy your content and learn a lot. wonder do you know a way to make a torch that would give you some light through the night and also leave you some embers to start your morning fire? Best wishes from Washington State USATerry

just getting into fishing would love to see an episode on which fish need descaling or which fish are safe to eat, easy to process and that sort of thing, you know for the beginners like myself

As Well, Many Moons Ago I Believe My Face Shrank Due To Blowing Directly Into Small Fires To Place More Oxygen Upon It. The Blowpipe Device Is A Much More Suited And Another Great Idea As Well.
