Sultan Ayub Mosque and Pierre Lotti Cable Car. 3. A day cruise to Prince's Islands (Buyukada)4. Spice Bazaar and Rustem Pasha Mosque5. Gulhane Park6. Galata Bridge and the Fish restaurants underneath the bridge7. Taksim Square

More journalists and opponents of the regime bankrupted, tortured or imprisoned than any other country in the world. If you don't want to give Erdogan, his family and cronies more money for their foreign bank accounts and want to enjoy an open free and democratic country, maybe Iran, Syria and North Korea should be on your bucket list instead.

I will be visiting all these sites in January. I am also visiting the Ephesus, Kusadasi, Pamukkale and Cappadocia. I am so excited to see all these places. I am pretty sure Turkey is an amazing country. Of course not to mention, trying authenticTurkish food/delicacies and Turkish hospitality. - Love from the Philippines and Canada.

Loved the video. Thanks for posting. In Turkish language, C with a tail below it (not available in English keyboard) is pronounced ch, as in cherish. Thus, it is pronounced DolmaBahche. Dolma being stuffed bell pepper, or wrapped grape leaves. Bahche is garden. Not sure about the origin of the name.

Turks love history and respect all cultures. Hence why all the roman and greek historic sites were well preserved. And respect to greece and balkan countries as well they also preserved a lot of historic ottoman mosques.

Nice video, however you really should try to get your pronunciations right. You absolutely murdered the names of the attractions. Could you not listen to some Turkish pronunciations before recording this?

I just left there yesterday. Much as I enjoyed the sites, I wouldn't recommend the city for lone female travelers. It's not that it's not safe, I just felt very harassed by the young adult men there.

Agree with you and have been doing similar things for forty years and still addicted to new homes in another country. Would you risk the political situation in Turkey at present?
