From its majestic mountains and famous fjords to its modern yet picturesque cities, Norway is simply one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Picture-perfect landscapes beg to be explored by foot, car, bike or boat. Whether taking in the breathtaking wonder of the northern lights or the summer sun glistening on a massive glacier, Norway is a great adventure in any season

I've always wanted to visit Norway with my family it's a beautiful country even gorgeous, but we never been there before and we're Muslims i mean my mom wears hijab but simple one, pants, hoodies and covering her hair whereas my sisters and I don't wear hijab, people always tells us that due to my mom's hijab it's dangerous for us to travel. I know that because of terrorism people are afraid but i'm not sure about the danger to travel there. So if anyone can answer me it would be great. Thanks

My favourite place in the world has just come up on the screen. Jotunheimen. I was there in June 1965 with pals from The Artillery Alpine Association. We had Joined the Den-Norse Tourist Association and were able to stop at hostels in the area, as students. What a fantastic time we had there. What a shame the month went by so soon and we had to return to our bases in Germany and the U. K. I am so very pleased that I got the chance to go there.

If you gonna stay in a cabin in Geiranger, make sure you book atleast a year ahead because when i was in Geiranger 2 years ago(my 16th time there) we booked in January and got 2 nights in late July and that was the last cabin in the whole region(70km all directions) so we were very veeery lucky that time. There is no way you can just stop at a camping site here and around and get a cabin that is not pre-booked way ahead. :)

I'm a loyal tourist who always visit norway in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Norway is a lovely place for living. their people are awesome and heart warming. Though living cost are quite high for me as an Indonesian, but its worthed. I will come back again and again.

Hi. I'm really enthusiastic about talking to a Norwegian friend, because I really am interested in figuring out what's going on in Norway. Is anyone here to do me a favor? And if you are Norwegian please answer back. Thank you very much indeed.

Bring plenty of money. Ordinary things can be quite expensive. Beer in a pub = 10+. Shirt, just an ordinary business shirt = 75. Jeans = 125 ++. Just ordinary ones, not high end designer jeans. And those prices were over ten years ago

Beautiful landscape. . I just hate old european architecture. . Its so blahh surrounded by all that beauty. . If Norway had modern cities to compliment the environment it would be a dream vacation

Also, there are no gates/entrances or entrance fees for national parks. Go camping if youd like - wherever - and fish - wherever. Check out the midnight sun and northern lights up north too.
