I visited Bali/ Singapore recently, but I flew with ANA on their 777-300er The Room business class and used the Haneda business class lounge.
Once one flies with Emirates Businss class it's easy to see why Emirates has the better product.
#1 The Japanese food leaned on seafood. I didn't like their food as much as I enjoyed Emirates. I also prefered Emirates drink variety more. Moet & Chandon Champagne beats Sweet Potato Shochu Sake any day.
#2 For me: flying from JFK to Haneda or JFK to DXB is 13 hours. It's nice to be able to shower and relax before the connecting flight. The Haneda lounge had a great shower/spa. Emirates had a more relaxed and quiet environment for their shower spa. But where Emirates wins is the larger space for their lounge. It doesn't feel like the Haneda lounge does. That one felt like a cafeteria. Virtually no privacy. The Emriates lounge has plenty of alcoves and spaces for stretch out sleeping.
#3 The seat on the flight of the ANA The room offers more privacy. It's the amount of privacy you get from Emirates First Class cabins with about half the space.
Emirates has Maybach-like seats in business class which are quite comfortable, but lack the privacy unless you get the true window seats.
I personally love Emirates, but their product only astounds when it's the A380 service. The A350 and 777 service is just above average while the A380 service is STELLAR.
Great video!

Beautiful horse sculpture at the lounge entry, handsome, well dressed flight stewards, short and to the point safety video, a lovely post breakfast port, a sweet little lounge to enjoy a nice scotch and mingle, a lavatory with a window, Mr. Wick in the entertainment venue, nice comfy bedding with plenty of leg room! What more could a girl ask for Nice flight! Emirates nails it. Very nice flight video, dear LTE . especially your spidey moves to get the shots from the ceiling in the restroom! Awesome!

Weird configuration with economy on the top as well. I took Emirates business on the A380 from New York to Dubai in June 2025, and the cabin for that flight was far more modern than what's featured here. Maybe our plane was recently refurbished, but the entire upper deck was first and business only. Dreamworld flight, so so good. IMHO flying business on Emirates' A380 is one of the top commercial aviation experiences in the world.

I have absolutely been waiting for this! I love your Emirates flights. The plane always looks both classy and cosy, and it seems to me that the customer service is very good. The food looks excellent as always, and I love the care they put into non-alcoholic drinks.
I aspire to take one sometime soon, since my local (smaller) airport has 2-3 direct flights to DXB daily.

Emirates really understands premium class travel, on the ground, in the air, and they deliver. Amazing that a dated cabin hard product due to be replaced is still so well maintained, everywhere looked super clean, unlike BA'sA380's cabins, due to be replaced but so tired looking and not always so clean. Exquisite report as usual.

One of the most wonderful thing about Saturday is the beautiful, mind soothing, exciting. Zen like, traveling video experience from LTE I could only wish to have such a traveling life. The video quality, no narration, soft music, and perfect slow captures that allow one to actually see and almost feel the actuality! Let's go!

Thanks for sharing your experience on this flight. Certainly Emirates are in a different class with their A380 experience. I'm blessed to be living very close to their hub.
Looking forward to your Bali videos, as I haven't visited that island yet.
Thanks for the great video again dear colleague.

People don't understand Middle Eastern culture on how you are more important than they're as a guest. Money is not everything for them; if Middle Easterners don't make as much profit as they could or even lose money on occasion to help you enjoy your experience more they will do it. Fly Emirates and see!

You really can't go wrong with Emirates business class, the service, the food etc, all is perfect! Looking forward to your review of Bali Hotels next week as I am flying there in March and have not booked accomm as yet, Buahan looks amazing! As always, thank you!

Hi LTE, not flown this seating configuration before, but looks interesting, but where was the lounge located; between the economy section on the second floor and the J section. Love Emirates as it is the go for flying from Australia to anywhere in the world.

We enjoyed our flight on Emirates (A380) & our comfy transit through the Business Lounge there. We stopped there around midnight-ish. it was super crowded. Lots of folks passing through DXB at that time. Looking forward to your Bali visit.

Do you feel that First Class is a lot better than Business on Emirates That Business class looked very good and I'm wondering when paying the huge difference to travel First Class if you really notice much difference

I always enjoy your videos- not just for the stunning beauty seen through your eyes, but also the nuggets of info that you share like the 4 RR engines! Thank you for another great video! Safe travels to you.

Are the A380 flights ever actually full to capacity There always seems to be a lot of empty seats. They look like amazing aircraft but I wonder how the airlines run them with a percentage of empty seats

Is the seat emirates uses in business the same one as ANA on their old business class on 787-9 Looks very similiar except for the shelf with the drink bottles and obviously colors.

I fly Emirates business Sydney to Athens twice a year. Great airline, the only disappointment is that they do not serve Coca-Cola. Pepsi is not the real thing.
reply

If you walk into this you dont expect a business class right I think they for sure take the crown only first could have done a bit better a level up
reply

As much as I love Emirates; this cabin looks so incredibly outdated. Looking forward to when all Emirates flights are revamped Keep up the great work!
