Inside Bangkok's most iconic hotel: MANDARIN ORIENTAL (impressions & review) Julie Chaniago: Please forgive me if I am wrong, few years back I visited Bangkok for ten days. It was my first time to explore myself alone. It was fun. I forgot the name of hotel I was staying anyway I seen many single men staying there at that time and many gals in and out from outside. they use the pool to. I was not comfortable and scare to use the hotel pool cause I see gals were not staying there join the pool. Don't give me wrong I love nice hotel and the swimming pool, but my first trip was not good like people said about Bangkok Thailand. I was enjoying the people around, the markets and people I talk to in the lobby. I even still talk to one of guest from Chicago he is a principle of high school here in the state. We still email friend. In November 2017 I will visit Bangkok, Thailand with my husband for 12 days. This place really interesting and decent looking hotel. I really like this hotel reviews. It's very decent and many things to do inside the hotel it self and around. Honestly the bedroom set up kind of old style maybe cause of the color of the pillows and the furniture. I don't know, but I like the bathroom. Thank you for the video. I like this hotel.

I stayed there once 20 years ago. It's really a business hotel, not a resort or vacation hotel. The lobby has a dress code - which I was always in violation of. Everyone knows your name all the time, which leads me to think that you're on camera the whole time. When you get off the elevator on your floor at 3 in the morning and the cleaning lady knows your name, you know something's up. It's not a very fun place; instead, it's a very businessy place.

like always, splendid video. Hard to think their remodel was just in 2016. With the Rosewood and the Park Hyatt serving major competition, its only a matter of time before this grand dame gets the facelift she really needs

Indeed an iconic hotel with a lot of history, but at the same time the decors and facilities look dated. I guess their selling points are the quality of their guests, the ambience, the fine services, and attention to the details.

You are so blessed to be able to travel and make these videos. I will never have the money to go and stay in these places so your videos is the closest I will ever come to travel. Thanks, this was fun.

This maybe highly indiscreet and I am fine if you prefer not to say, but what kind of business are you in? Just wondering. Or is this your job?
