Belmond Hotel Cipriani (Venice, Italy): a FABULOUS 5-star hotel (review) Peter Fritz Walter: And yes, let me tell you a couple more things. You did a fantastic job, of course your food photography at dinner was not that bright, but how could you do this other than with really professionalvery expensiveequipment. But what you did with what you did have at your disposition, a simple Canon G7 Powershot, blows my mind. It must have blown the mind of the hotel also for otherwise they would not have done the deal with you. But I would really like to thank you personally for this wonderful video, also compliment you on the choice of the wonderful music, and all the other details. You, and other young people like you, who are very talented, are setting a new standard in the world of advertisement where not 'big contracts' are what counts but sense of detail, incredible craftmanship (not sold as 'professional' though) and wonderful young spirit. Thank you to have enriched my life. while I would not spend almost 800 for this hotel. I am a hotel trainer for 5-star hotels since 20 years, and I can tell you they also only cook with water and just overprice their little shit for the rich who want to throw their money out of the window. In every little 3-star family hotel in Italy you get same or better food and certainly a more personal approach to YOURSELFthe customer. Let us be honest, what value does it have for you and me if XXYY cinema celebrity has stayed there before?

I really appreciate your videosI was in Venice twice in less than a year. The second time we stayed for a week in a Best Western (funky but pleasant in a bohemian sort of way) just behind San Marco. Our room was on the ground level and positioned over a bridge and canal (do those canals reek. It had a tall window that swung outward which allowed us to perch on the sill and watch the people stream by as we sipped our wine. It was like a set from one of those 1950s MGM musicals like An American In Paris or Gigi. I never heard of the CiprianiIf you want a beautiful hotel off-the-beaten-path I would suggest the Castello Del Nero, a 5-star luxury hotel/spa in the heart of Tuscany. It's a 12th century castle converted into a luxury hotel nestled in rolling hills covered with groves of olive trees and grape orchids. It is beautifully landscaped and the air is redolent with the scent of wild lavender. Talk about heaven on earth

I've never wanted to visit Venice because the thought of water lapping up against or under the buildings makes me imagine that they are moldy and damp inside, especially during the winter. However, the Cipriani looks far from moldy Truly a world class hotel and your suite was gorgeous. Yes, I think I could spend a week there Your new camera captured the hotel and grounds beautifully. Kudos, Dr LTE

Another great and comprehensive video once again. This inspired my next year's trip, hopefully on a tour of Italy's luxury hotels and historic cities. Is it safe to assume this was filmed in October? The weather seems pretty sunny when all the websites say Oct-Nov is wet. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more Luxury hotel videos from the expert

I do think in such places as this world heritage site that they should limit or ban these cruise ships from docking. It is not just the size it is the sheer amount of people that get disgorged on a very limited area and overrun the whole site spoiling the delicate atmosphere of such a place. They should limit it to 1500 max capacity ships.

Spotted 18: 03 the world famous red suitcase soaking up the luxury in Venice. When I visited Venice I stayed at the Hotel Danieli and loved it but think I would like this better if I ever return. I like the idea of being close to the crowds but not in them at all times.

So tell me. How can I be your assistant and travel with you staying at these oh so lovely properties, eating that luscious looking food and floating in the beautiful pools, smelling the flowers and all the rest? I'll even sleep on a cot LOL

There is no place on Earth like Venice. She is sublime. I loved the chandeliers, the old world charm of the hotel, that somehow also managed to have a modern uncluttered feel. I bet that garden smells like Heaven.

Perfect review. I don't doubt to agree with you, that camera justifies your praise for it. I bet it costs an arm and a leg to lodge there a night, doesn't it? I like the interior of the bathroom. Thank you sir
