I used to live in Las Vegas and it took me about 4 hours to make that drive, doing it at night it really gets strange, No lights, all you can see is what is lit up by your headlights. I always said what was out there was miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles of nothing, then a town pops up then back to nothing. LOL Great drive though during the day. still a lot of nothing but still a nice long drive.

I have literally made this drive about 250 times. I start in Simi Valley and go the back way through Palmdale to Little Rock to Victorville, then pick up the 15 from Victorville into Vegas! It’s been a little over a decade since I’ve made this trip, So it brought back some great memories! Thanks for sharing

Horrible drive. Done it 30 times since I grew up there. Weekend traffic is so bad it can take an extra 3 hrs easy with traffic. I moved to Tennessee to get away from the congestion. Best decision ever. don't miss it one but. So beautiful here also. I haven't sat in bumper to bumper traffic for 2 years

Hello. I love this video. From what I can see, it looks pretty flat and safe. I always travel with a gallon of water anyway. However I have trouble driving on mountains where I can see drop-offs to the bottom. Is the whole Drive flat like this or are there some scary drop offs on the mountains.

I love how the audio is quiet, and comforting, with minimal road/wind noise. I had to do this drive many times all the way to Utah in my 1988 BMW, and it was not a quiet ride lol. Thankfully now I have a newer car, but man, something about a loud drive makes it more immersive. Love these videos!

I take this drive every few months. For me this is a good video to fall asleep to haha. For something really scenic, i flew into Portland back in May and drove 2hrs east, along the Columbia River. You should check out that drive and film it one day.

Tip for tourists doing this drive Hop off the freeway at Terribles. That puts you onto Las Vegas Boulevard. Same road that becomes The Strip’. And a nice break from the freeway.

Not a journey to travel by motorbike, unless you want square tyres - horizon views are great but interstates so boring! Maybe there are no 'by road' alternatives

Absolutely amazing video. I’m stationed in Okinawa Japan, watching this video makes me so happy but also miss home in a good way. Keep up the good work man

If you are not passing cars you are supposed to move to the lane to your right. That way cars that wanna pass you can do so on the correct side (left)

I would like to make this ride with rent a car Tesla. Are there enough superchargers And good places to take few breaks and enjoy the ride.

Have been making that trip since the early 1990s, when we used paper maps lol. Last time was just 3 weeks ago after visiting Laguna Beach.
