Drove thru it last week to visit family in St. George, Utah. At first drove up from Las Vegas at night and could not see anything. We knew something special was going on though especially with caution signs warning about high winds possible in the Gorge. Coming back, during the morning, we were absolutely blown away at the beauty of this road! easily the most spectacular stretch of road we have ever driven!

I think I recognize that road from a FreeWayJim video. If I remember correctly, he talked about this being a road that was originally built on the US Army's behalf, because they needed a easier way to move troops through that area, or something like that.
Of course I could be confusing it.

Looking forward to making this drive later this summer. It's funny that we'll be in Arizona for less than an hour, but it's the most beautiful part of the drive. Thanks for the video. I didn't even know this existed until I watched it.

Thanks for the side views. Not many road videographers do that, and I've never seen side views on other folk's videos of this stretch. It just adds so much more to the trip when someone has the ability to run two cameras.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful drive. It was night when I drove it from the opposite direction, so I didn't see how beautiful it is. But I do remember how beautiful Vegas looked all lit up the first time it came into view.

We just did this drive in reverse, from north to south, in our RV, and it took us a lot longer than 21 minutes. But What. A. View.
