I've been using the same waterproof winter boots for 6 years. I've been interested in trail runners for a while. just something I have not come to buy yet. But I want to say thank you Dixi, you have made me very interested in long distance hiking. I have not figured out when I will be able to attempt a through hike, but you advice has impacted my day hikes and overnight backpacking. I guid outdoor trips for students at the same University as me, so it's important to be have knowledge and experiences to share and enjoy. Best wishes for finishing your triple crown!
