PAPAAAAAAA!
Hey there. I've one question If you're from the south. One recipe i've learned in the US while i was hiking there (a long time ago) was Trail Glue. I've learned it from a friend from Charleston. It's also called Carolina Caviar or Caviar of the south. Yes, I'm talking about Pimemto Cheese, the simplified Version of it. You can't bring Cream Cheese, but Mayonnaise in small Tubes ist no Problem as long as you consum it quickly after you've opened it.
You need old, intense Cheddar (put the cheese in some vingar diped Cotton or Leather Cloth for Transport, that will preserve Cheese, Dry Meat or Salami, some dried pimentos (you had several different over there in the US, you'll have to try yourself, Mayonnaise in some pasteurized Form (i still prefer japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise) and some Sort of spices (i Love to add some Carolina Sunshine to Spice it Up.
Tada, you're done. I Like to Mix all ingredients in those Silikon Tubes you can buy for making topings for BBQ, reuseable for different stuff, and let it sit there for a while (in hot days NOT TO LONG.
And now enjoy with some Crackers or Mixed with quick cock Polenta, Rice, Ramenbomb or russian precocked Buckwheat. jeez, I'm getting hungry now.
Also you can put it in norwegian crispbread!

My Mother was from Alabama so you can kind of guess what kind of food I am partial to. For you Yankee's, real food prepared at home begins with the word F-R-I-E-D. On the trail you have to make do with the next best thing since extended backpacking with an iron skillet is a bit much. I haven't tried the Pack It Gourmet brand yet but I am looking forward to trying some chili and Polenta with pork sausage. Is it feasible to stir up a pot of Jambalya on the trail? That is sure to earn you some new lifetime friends. Find some baby crawdaddies to give it some body. Oh my! In the M. H. selections I am partial to the chicken stew, chicken fried rice, Italian pepper steak, and beef stew. Been field testing some of those folger coffee in a tea bag thingys. Its a work in progress. Bless your heart for starting every video with Hey Y'all. Takes me back to a better time in my life and has certainly earned you a fresh pair of angel wings in my book. Thank You Young Lady for all you do for us people reading about your exploits. And finally 2 very special words, Safe Travels!

LOL no respect at all for your stomach or your taste buds. Me and the wife went camping a few months back. Mrs Huntarama hates food waste and decided to try the dehydrated spag bol I got for a present thirty years ago. The next night she was worried that the new packet I had wasnt going to be eaten for thirty years so she ate that as well. Her report was that they were of the same quality and dont buy anymore. I keep a packet for emergency food but havnt eaten a freeze dried meal for years.
Dont like to appear a food snob but if you enjoy freeze dried meals then you must be a rubbish cook, just saying!

I saved a ton of money by buying a food dehydrator and doing my own chicken and ground beef also vegetables out of my own garden so I know what I'm getting. Also you can customize to your own taste. Just another option to making another manufacturer richer.

I've probably UL backpacked wrong by packing a pound of steak and 3 lbs of beer, but I've only done single nights so far, lol. I'll def try some of these suggestions!

Backpackers country Pad Thai is one of my favorites so much flavor and a huge treat to have. When you backpacking and you're tired of eating the same thing, LOL.
