I have this car, if you're half thinking about getting one, test drive it and you will not be disappointed. The performance is excellent verging on the absurd, and that's before you whack it in sequential stick shift, paddle shift or sport mode. There is loads of power and it's a good smooth ride which hugs the corners if you don't take the piss. You can really fling it about.
Love it. Eats up most things on a motorway!

I bought my Polo GTi two weeks ago. Just like the test car on the video, mine is three doors and is red. The performance and the twin-charger engine & DSG Gearbox combination take a little getting used to. But now that I have altered my driving style to match, I am enjoying the performance and economy. Great car all round.

Every car reviewer says the same thing, that it's too refined and sophisticated. What do you expect it's a vw. This is a car for someone that wants a fast hatch but doesn't want the attention. Nor is going to put flashy led wiper lights and 20- chromies. And for some reason they all seem suprised about it.

Expensive? Well the Lupo GTI was about 16k new back in 2000 and it was because it was well put together, I really don't think 18k is expensive for a Polo GTI the reviewer is way of the mark.

Truly revolting review from someone who obviously either has bias or doesn't know cars. Boring, opinionated before commencement and frankly inaccurate. Comparing this to a Ford! Seriously.

Test drove one with my brother before he ordered his; flung the rear out round a corner at about 85km/h. Very fun little hatch, well worth it. Don't be fooled by this guy's review.

in america we will get the polo sedan and not the hatch if we get it at all i am almost certain. what is the price difference between the golf gti and polo gti

i think this guy has not driven a standard Polo before. like 1. 4 83hp etc. cause there is gap between GTI and the other Polo's like an surrey.
