New 2020 Renault ZOE review - can it take the affordable electric car crown? Steven: I'll take the older model with less range, lower weight and a lower price, and I think a similar option on other EV's would be wise. I know, some people are really obsessed with more and more range, but then again, some of us aren't. The other day I was talking to a nice lady who has a Toyota Prius Plus. I asked her what kind of mileage she got. She said 30 or 40 miles. At first I thought she meant 30 or 40 miles per gallon of petrol, but no, she meant 30 or 40 miles before the petrol engine switches on. She said the petrol engine rarely switches on. She drives the car every day and charges it overnight at home. She got a tank of petrol 4 months ago, and has 3/4 of a tank left. I think customers like her might be able to be talked into all-electrics with less than 250 miles of range.

drive the zoe 108ho at work, and i love it.
except from the socalled upgraded design in the front. those waves in the helmet and the bumper, is the reason i am looking for an alternative car. i really do not like them. seems like the design of the zoe is in the process of been destroyed like the nissan leaf.

Sorry but am I the only one who thinks that over an hour's charge time is still rubbish? Can't say I see mass market adoption of electric cars until you can go from 0-100 in 10/15 minutes, considering filling a tank of petrol takes 2 minutes at the most

No way! A car is Nothing without a proper service. And my Renault-s battery lost 35% capacity at 65000 kms. Now Renault is not executing warranty procedure at all. I-m not talking about a second hand dealer, but the manufacturer itself!
