I have tucson 2005 GLS v6. I have same issue as yours. it stalls at low speed. if you keep pressing gas paddle it wont stall. being said put in neutral/park and press gass paddle to keep more than 3000 rpm.
i brought to canadian tire. paid 400 with no solution. they said there is no code. may need mass air control sensor. they cleaned throttle. i took it to local mechanic with a hope after. he said it may need a new battery. he installed new battery and cleaned headlights for no reason. he charged me 300 dollars.
finally i went to the dealer. they said it needs crank sensor. they changed for 325. stalled again. again dealer said need tps sensor. changed for 195. then idle air control 175. bought mass air sensor 124. still stall spent over 1500. bought code reader, current reader. no luck. now throwing it in scrap yard. no one one the problem. everyone has different view. it doesnt worth spending more on this car. no one want to buy this scrap even for 500. such a waste of time and money

When I was doing a small automotive tech course in 1994 they had that trouble with a late 1980's model Daihatsu Charade, they had a exhaust gas analyser hooked up to the tailpipe which was reporting a lean air to fuel mixture, they suspected that the car may have had an exhaust leak.
If the Hyundai has a twin exhaust system, maybe you can hook one of them up to the affected cylinder banks tailpipe to confirm that the air to fuel mixture is actually lean.
If it's not leaky valves, incorrect valve timing, a faulty O2 sensor, faulty wiring or a blown cylinder head gasket then I would look for an exhaust leak, it could be caused by a sooted up O2 sensor which is underreporting as well!

Not sure if il get a response but I have one these Tucson ( unfortunately) long story short. Noticed the back wheels locking up when going backwards. Looked under and seen the rear differential had oil pissing out. Changed the diff with a new one. But still having problems. Now when in normal 2 wheel drive there is a slight buzzing noise and when reversing in 4 wheel it locks up the back wheels. Like a binding or being held back. Any ideas what this could be. I've read up on the AWD and 4WD. Is it correct to say that the wheels will lock up if on a normal road and the buzzing sound may be the front differential needs changed too. Any advise from anyone would be good.

Not sure if this is something or not to look at, you guys mentioned a butterfly valve in the intake, when leaning a carberated aircraft, just moving the throttle butterfly ever so slightly will change the airflow in the plenum and change a left half vs right half lean or rich, and our in sight monitor usually shows each cylinders egt and cht, just a slight bump of the throttle butterfly will make a bank or a single cylinder change quite a bit, point being, one of the plenum butterflies in yours may be directing liquid fuel to the rear bank, knowing the other mechanic was jacking with it, Id like to disassemble it and look at the plenum air flow.

I just found this three+ year old pair of videos! Amazing thought trip to the answer.
One thing I can say is: the guy who invents an aluminum magnet will make a fortune!
I DON'T repair cars for a living. You should be thankful that I don't! I was thinking, Ok, so replace the faulty cam and it'll purr. Sure, it would purr for a few weeks or so with the more correct idea of a head replacement, but then watch out! I would love to have seen the oil filter from before the oil change.

I have an 07 V6 Limited, & the vehicle stutters at a stop while in drive. This only happens after you run the car, then shut it off, leave it for a bit, then drive it again. Already changed plugs & wires, cleaned air intake & siliconed, cleaned air filter, ran the vehicle to clean the fuel system a few times. This issue doesn't always happen, but is worrisom as it may start stalling. I hope this was enough but doubt it.

That would drive me mental. Must be frustrating as hell. Just the fact that the previous guy has a long list of things they have eliminated. Not saying they didn't do a perfect job in each case or anything, but it's the question in the back of your mind. did they run the bead of silly-cone all the way around the intake duct, and every other uncertainty. Unless you have seen it with your own two eyes, it may or may not have happened.

the lean run on bank 2 can only be caused by a fault on bank 2 you found a small vacuum leak and proved it with brake clean I think you have found the problem small vaccum leanks on v enginesare allways going to be a pain but you were able to pin this to bank 2 diagnosed as far as I can see

Tap it with the back of a screwdriver and hit it with some cold-spray. that's how one chases down elusive problems in electronic equipment. ;-)

Dont know if it is more of a relief or hindrance for people with almost no knowledge of repair, knowing actual mechanics can spend so much time on these issues. Though these videos do help tons.
