we have a look at a 2013 Dodge Avenger that came in with a customer complaint of a noisy blower motor and a wet passenger floor. It didn't take long to track down the problem and find a plugged HVAC drain. Also ended up replacing blower motor and resistor due to water damage

That CRC cleaner is really kinda pointless in most cases. The only time I use it is working on electronics with old greasy potentiometers or cigarette smoke infused connectors. It will do a wonderful job of breaking up tar and grease.
I've never seen lithium grease used as a dielectric grease, but it makes perfect sense. I'll keep that in mind. One less tube of shmoo to keep around.

Everytime it rains, the back floor passenger side floods. Its not coming front the roof, nor the seals of the door or window. Ive even took it through the self car wash so I can see where the water is coming from, but still have no clue. If someone knows what this could be, please hit me with a message.

Speaking of glove boxes! Please clean out the glove box before bringing it in I have came across porn, guns, bullets, food and mice an Chipmunks FYI gloveboxes get hot so not the best place for guns and ammo just saying! What's your most interesting find lol

Man, I'd love to work for you. I was taught by old man who worked for GM, Ford and Oldsmobile back in the day along with building 427 side oiler engines for Nascar. I've got the old school tricks along with the new school electronic tricks haha.

Ok. You should have smoked that roach. when I find them in customers cars I burn up! And Eric please start wearing gloves! All that crap that comes out of a can is gonna kill you even if you dont live in Cali! Leukemia is a terrible way to die!

I fix this sort of blockage by closing all the air vents and switching the fan on high, that creates a high pressure inside the airbox which blows the crud straight out. You dont have to get under the car to do it.

Would love to see you replace a lower steering column bearing on an early 2000's GM pickup. I've done two and struggled both times. There are other YouTube vids on doing this but they didn't help.

would it not be better to use a vacuum to try and clear that drain hose out? I understand that the air hose was easier but won't the debris just eventually clog the drain again? Just curious. -John

Great video. I had a grand vitara with the drain plugged. The ecm on it was full of water making it not start. I found it because the passengers side floor was wet.

9: 21 This is why they always say disconnect the battery. NEVER DO THIS IF THE BATTERY IS CONNECTED STILL. THE WIRE BRUSHES CAN SHORT THE CONTACTS AND FRY MODULES.
