I have had the same problem with my 2002 Tahoe - had to have it towed today because it would not try to crank. I thought it was the solenoid going bad but not sure. It shows 12. 8 volts on the battery and everything works just like this one it will not engage the starter - it done this once before put a charger on it to charge and it went to working but not this time had to jumper the relay connector then it went back to normal.

Ah, the smell of frustration. some time later. I'm gona call it, I'm leaving this toilet I'm sitting here wetting my pants laughing, coughing up my Corona phlegm Hahaha it hurts but I can't stop laughing. In a way it's not funny, the guy could have set his truck on fire and gotten someone burnt or killed, but Eric, how you managed to get through that without any four letter words is beyond me.

I have kinda the same problem with my escalade it goes into tamper mode and I have to do the 10 minute relearn like yours did and it works it does this to me randomly and it is annoying! I wish there was a good shop like yours in so cal

Can we say ghetto truck even ghetto rope towed in. Shocked he even touched it. COuld have hot glued thos column wires in if need be might work.
