No matter how many times I watch your great videos I still laugh so hard every time you break out the brake cleaner and the dramatic music starts! LOL. No but really 200 just for pads from GM? Screw that man I have Brembos on my SS and got some Advance Auto Platinum pads designed specifically for Brembo brakes for about 50. And guess what no squealing no problems and great service from these brakes screw the dealer just get them yourself.

1st: A lot of folks want to know why I did not install slotted, drilled, vented rotors and a different pad.
ANSWER: I only do what I am asked to do by the customer, it is not my car
2nd: Why are the front hubs splined?
ANSWER: This is the same wheel part number bearing used in the 2008 to 2015 Cadillac CTS AWD. GM just fitted them to the Camaro too.

After hearing the price on the materials, Im not at all sad that my wife doesnt drive her 2012. its only got 3, 500 miles on it. same color convertible, 6 speed, 6. 2L SS. The OE pads and rotors Im continuously putting on her 13 Tahoe or pricey enough too

Brembo has a plant in the US its in Indiana and all they do is make rotors at the said plant. I'm a truck driver and I deliver the raw rotor castings to them to be machined. The raw castings come from wapacakaa foundry in Wisconson.

If DOT 5. 1 is compatible with DOT 3 and DOT 4, why not switch to DOT 5. 1? It will not collect water like the others. I bet the brake pads are stintered. I have stintered brake pads on my Brembo's from the factory.

Those V8 camaros and mustangs are a lot of fun to drive. Don't own one myself, but my local Avis car rental does rent them, and I splurged a few times.
