you could send me the launch tool. its one of the tools i need for my mechanic work. i have a mobile truck and the best tool i could aford is the bosch 1300. it does ok but it is limted on what i can do with it. . you could say it does about 5% of what a tool like the launch does. im just starting out with the mobile machincs and it is not doing bad but 300 a week not going to work and with a tool like the launch i could realy up my game. still need a scope of course but with that tool i could build up the rest of what i need fast. i know you wont send it but it would be great if i could get one or a tool close to it with all the things it can do i cant do anything more then read the vehicles im working on with the scan tools i have and you and i both know its not enough to just read them. you videos help out so much i realy thank you for them. it has at least up my game tthat way. one day i hope to have my shop again divorce in arizona can realy kill you they give it all to the woman i was lucky she was kind enough to let me keep all my tools but thats nothing without the building and 60% of my tools are now sitting in storge. as i have no way to use them and saling them no one wants to buy them for they would need a building to use them as well. ii just hope some day soon i can catch a break. but thanks to you paul danner and phad i have ben able to do so much more and have the know how now to fix the newer vehicles. i realy thank you all for that. keep up the good videos lord know we need them.

It's too bad there aren't more technicians like you - I'd send business your way in heartbeat. Learned more that I ever thought I'd want to know by just observing your troubleshooting processes.
Have you ever seen a crank sensor fail in such away that it allowed oil to migrate UP the wiring loom to the PCM? I just recently discovered this on my BMW (Well, there's your problem lady) after a going nearly insane chasing ghost trouble codes. Finally got an intermittent P0336/limp mode and found the leaky sensor buried under just about everything. Cleared codes, new oem sensor, clean/dry connector, good pwr/gnd/ref (with DVM) but still no joy. Checked corresponding plug at the PCM and found it soaked in motor oil? Contact cleaner, compressed air and not a hiccup since. Does that make any sense to you?

i could realy use that luanch you could send it my way. i need it so i can up my mobile mechanic bussness. the bosh 1300. is a good tool. but reading the codes and and diag. data is no where near enough. i cant make more 300 to 500 a week on a good month. a tool like that would realy step things up and a good scope of course. i know you wont send it but i can at least say thank you so much for the videos. you danner and PHAD have realy helped me out with the videos and now im able to work on the nwer vehicles with out being forced to spend 50000 to go back to school. its been so great in that part of my work and i have been able to teach my son so he can maybe someday take things over and just maybe do way better then i could ever do thank you. keep up the great videos lord knows we need them.

could it be low because of too big an air gap, and not generating enough signal voltage or some metal filings on the sensor tip dulling the signal also? was it clean when you pulled it or like a hedgehog? what! no part 2? after me saying to Ivan 'i hate these jobs split into multiple parts'. its like watching a tv mini series ha ha.

Despite you're feeling tired and cranky I was able to understand the hall effect waveform and what you are looking for. This is the first time I got it after watching most of your videos twice. Having Marie help you with your car reminds me when I would hit a wall working on my truck and my wife would come out to the garage giving her perspective on the problem and a hand if needed, and it helped me get energized again to tackle the truck from a new angle. Those were good memories.

I need some of your testing tools. I've been trying to solve weak head light voltage on a PT cruiser, just on one side. I temporary jumped a wire from one good headlight to the other. I will hopefully solve it this winter.

Looks exactly like the fault I suggested the scope for on a grand vitara even the suzuki OEM computer wouldnt pull any codes from it. Got fired for that suggestion from my internship.

Hey we watch you every day. I have a 07 Suzuki Xl7 limited. I wanted to say GM scan tool works just fine as it is equinox torrent equal. To a point. It's got a lot from the GM parts bin

I see this a lot on the Hyundais. They will actually run but have the fault stored and when scoping they have lower than expected amplitude. New one usually cures em up.
