Funny you talked about mice in there. I have a 07 Tundra 5. 7, the first year I owned it I had a squirrel in the engine bay that chewed a hole through the grommet that goes through the firewall. during the chew fest they also chewed through my wire harness that goes from the inside fuse box to the other fuse box. It was a 8k insurance job to get it replaced! Well, a year later I go out start it and put it in drive and hit the gas but nothing! I popped the hood to find another squirrel got in the engine bay and chewed through the SAME GROMMET AND WIRE HARNESS. Another 8k insurance job, but now my fog lights don't work and they wouldn't include it in the insurance for some reason. Wish I could figure out the fog lights, I miss them!

I love junk yards! When I was in college in the early 70 s my future wife was going to college out of state. When I went to visit her I would call (before cell phones) and let her know I was on my way. I was in Florida and she was in Alabama 7 hours away. I would show up at her place 10-12 hours later, and she was upset thinking that I had been in an accident. Driving through Georgia / Alabama in those days there were a lot of junkyards in the rural areas. I would spot one and end up walking the rows of cars forever. There were tons of Mopars, Chevys and Ford s muscle cars and I would just lose track of time.

Here I thought I'd be the old geyser at 73. Usually forget why I've gone into another room. Haven't left the fly down for a while. Advertising? Though a couple of years ago, wifey switched me to sweat pants. No fly to worry about. Just need to be sure below waist is covered before leaving house.
Mrs. O is easy on the eyes, could that be why the village chatty Cathys' visit?
Fifty was the start of the big decline for me. Maybe you still have a couple more years!

Eric, Go ahead - look down and check that fly! Sorry to say, it gets worse as you get older. I m 70 and still forgetting my phone, wallet and fly. Mrs O is the one that makes you wear pants before you go out right? Mine checks me before I do. Haha.
Mrs O, always good to see you and know that you re trying to take care of your oldest boy. We have Moms, then girlfriends then wives. Does it ever end having someone always having to watch out for us? Hahaha

I've been using Boeshield T-9 for decades. I've never seen any in your shop but it's good stuff. There are reviews comparing it against Fluid Film. .. The T-9 is thinner coming out of the can so it penetrates and then dries fairly hard. Perfect for this application. It does not sag or drip when it gets hot. Ive used it on head bolts on the engine of my boat that I used in the ocean to prevent rust. It does not burn off either.

This is how you know Eric is a REAL mechanic, He isn't going to charge a customer the 2 grand that GM probably wants for the part (if it's still even available. He runs to the pick-n-pull like a real man! By the way y'all got a nicer scrap yard than we do up here in Auburn! I'm jelly!

There is no way you could bore me with any of your videos Bro! I have learned something from each and every one of them, especially the ones the pertain to GM trucks and some cars. They always make me laugh and are entertaining, especially when Mrs. O makes an appearance! Thanks.

I found court papers in a Sheriffs junked car at the local auto dismantler yard once. The papers indicated the perp was a really bad fella: robbery, ID theft, was in possession of multiple ID/credit cards not in his name. etc. Interesting junk yard find. lol

I see that you use fluid film all the time. Is there some kind of master list of all the things that you use it for? Just curious. Absolutely love your videos every time a new one comes out that's the first thing I watch. Thanks for making great content.
