a couple years ago had the purge valve fail on our 01 lesabre so i replaced the purge valve. then shortly after the intake plenum went kaboom, (car set for a day and went to start it) definitely recommend checking the fuel pressure regulator just to double check and make sure it isnt leaking. built up fuel vapor in the plenum so when i went to start it went. replaced the plenum, fuel pressure regulator and been fine since. also put a standard igntion part on and it failed after a year.

Must of been Wednesday. Nope Me wrong. I had my C5 dash laying in the yard. No display lights at Night and the Heads up control panel not lite. Help Mr. O Could it be the High voltage inverter in the cluster? I did fix the actual mirror in the HUD. Pivot point broke on mirror. And replaced the flasher switch was replaced. Turn signals were wonky.

My mom still has that exact year LeSabre. I used to have an '04. They had their share of nuts and bolts issues, worst being the DexCool sludge/head gasket issue, but otherwise that 3800 was a beast. I just replaced a control arm and oxygen sensor in hers and it's still rolling. Thanks as always, Eric.

My dad had an 01 regal LS with the ol reliable 3800 series 2, bought it at 40k miles, ran it very hard for 8 years with very late oil changes (sometimes 30k over) all the way to 346k before she locked up. Those engines are shit brickhouses

I just love these. I don't a know single soul with a LaSabre, or any Buick for that matter, but I know that doesn't matter. Diag stuff is so intuitive that it applies to so much other stuff. Thanks for being here Eric O. You're the best!

It's so nice to find one that is easy. I'm a little frustrated with hidden one way valves that do funny things under the positive pressure of a smoke machine.

OMG. This is perfect. I have a 2003 lesabre with a pO446. I m waiting for a thinktool scanner and I m hoping it will do what this autel does.
