I have two craftsman sets but both sets are shallow and I doubt would take too kindly to an impact gun. I have used them successfully with a ratchet and once with a cheater pipe on the ratchet with success. A trick i learned when using said cheater pipe put a shop towel or rag around the ratchet handle before the pipe so there are no incriminating marks on the ratchet also craftsman.

Hold off on the house refinance, the better solution, bring the car to south main, Eric will use his set to loosen your round nuts, let's saw bolts instead. Any rate, better to rent the tool Eric's, than to make the costly purchase unless you encounter the frequent round xXxX issue.

You d have to remove 3, 000 rounded bolts and nuts to recover the cost. Do the math. It s mathematically insane to spend that type of money. Why didn t you just take your wife to Niagara Falls somewhere, and you jump in. Or pay to have that foreign object removed from your noggin

Yeah they're wayyyyyyyyy overpriced. It's basically worth the frustration of other methods. Spend the 500 instead on a good used oxy acetylene set up and use some cheap harbor freight extractors. Heat cleanses all. (a little soaking in PB blaster doesn't hurt either)

If I were a betting man, which I am, I would put the gearwrench bolt bitters up against those for 1/3 the cost and be satisfied with the results! But then again, I have done that, lol
You could buy a torch and bottles for cheaper than a set of those!

I've had really good luck with an old Craftsman set I found in a shed at a house we were renting. Also a cheap Canadian Tire maximum set as well. They are not deep though, but I can't think of a situation where I needed a deep one.

I tell everyone about rbrts. They work and come in all types and sizes. They are made by another company. Can t recall which but the exclusive rights should end soon, hopefully. You can buy individual rbrt tools also.
