The Lamest Video I Have Made Yet. Older: Damn Eric, wish I was visiting my relatives in Spencerport area soon, I would trailer my everyday driver, a 1994 Taurus up there. People around Memphis area don't seem to want to touch it. It has only 80, 000 on the clock and has some sort of can buss communication error, damn ABS and Air Bag lights illuminate/flash all the time, hard to find good headed troubleshooters.

You sir, are not capable of putting a lame video. we here in the SMA army wait with baited breath for ANY video uploaded by Dr. O. In fact, how about you live stream every Monday? After 2 days off, I can only imagine that no matter how mundane the repairs are, Monday's are just crazy enough that a whole bunch of your SMA army followers would tune in, and love EVERY minute of it

Eric O
Nothing exciting happening folks
Lets replace the mufflers
Breaks out cutting torch right next to the fuel tank, and starts cutting.
In our next video, we will show you the steps in rebuilding our shop
Stay tuned, it's going to be interesting
If i can do it so can you

Hey Eric! QUESTION? About 2-3 years ago my boss (Jim the car guy. who has videos on you tube) when to a gathering of mechanics who post their repair videos on you tube. Our shop is in New Jersey but I think the get together was upstate New York. Were you part of that? Jut wondering?
reply

What a poor excuse for duals. Back in the day exhaust didn't waft out of duals. It blew smoke rings. I'd never replace a dual exhaust like that back to duals. Total waste. Video not that lame. Any time it involves a gas wrench things can get interesting in a hurry.

Eric selling out, busting out the fancy torch tricks to spice up a run of the mill muffler job. You've changed Eric! Hahahha kidding, any job that pays the bills is a job worth doing. There will be a panic before winter just you wait.

Eric Mr O you need another project vehicle or give away car you did a great thing on your first giveaway and on your jeep project now that wouldn t be a mundane video love all of your videos you have taught me a lot and thank you for this

Maybe you still feel young enough and start fixing Euro and diesel cars. Never a dull or lame week. We have nothing but fun. And on our side, rust galore. So come join the dark side Eric and the force will be with you.

I'll gladly give you a comment and a thumbs up even for the lamest video you can thank of just for what little payment it is for the help you give people. Thanks for all you do Eric O. Never a disappointment.

I'd watch you watch paint dry Eric. Your Commentary alone would be worth it, but also I never changed a muffler before, let alone own a Nissan, but now I have an idea how to do it. I learned something!

Love all your videos Eric. None of them are lame. Having repairs to do is a good thing no matter how lame the repair is!
Eric, do you suggest 3k oil changes or 5k oil changes for NYS registered vehicles?

Started off with Rory, Shawn, and Mike out doing trail repairs, and now Eric at SMA doing in shop repairs. Pretty darned good Saturday. Trail Mater for those who didn't know who Rory and crew were )

I have confidence somewhere out there in the next week or so is another garage or a dealer that will be crying help and bring in a car they couldn't diagnose. Or even another auction car.

After fixing other peoples broken rides all week every week. I'm not here for the repair. I'm here for your comedy! You assure me that talking to myself while working doesn't make me weird.

Yeah, when I have run of the mill weeks, I complain that it is too boring. But, when I have high trouble shooting weeks, I long for boring and mundane. My workload is either feast or famine.

Anyone know what he did when he used the torch on the new muffler clamps? Just curious if it melted the nut to the threads so they wouldn t come loose or was it for something else?
reply

At least I learned about a new air hammer bit. However, the exhaust systems here in Michigan usually end up looking like brown lace. A couple of good tugs and they're on the floor.
reply

Admit it Eric, you brought out the torch to peen the muffler clamps threads just to play making fire and smoke. That was the simplest dual exhaust replacement I've ever seen.

I keep a heavy flannel shirt that I picked up at Salvation Army, great to slip on to protect my arms from sparks, scratches, etc. I have my wife wash it couple times a year.
reply

Ohh I dunno Mr O.
The chick in the advert before the video was worth it but, always a but eh. ..
Unexpected appearances from MRS O always make a video interesting
