I have a look at a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country that came in with a misfire on cylinders number three and six. It also has a code P02308. It does not take long to chase it down and find a failed ECM

So often techs/mechanics get a bad rep because of the things you found on this job alone. It is amazing that people do the things they do all for a buck or because they are afraid to say they simply don't know and take a small fee and send it to a more qualified shop. You do such a great job going above and beyond that I swear to God if I can afford to drive my truck up from Texas for the work it needs I'm bringing it to you. It is a pos old 98 F150 with at least 227K miles the odometer stopped working there. I may have to do it in several trips but I believe my wife has family around there anyway. Well within a couple of hundred miles which isn't that far. I love the videos and information your provide, I'm recovering from a major neck surgery I had last Wednesday hope to be able to catch wuw next week. I have some questions. I need an engine rebuild/replace, tranny rebuild replace or a tourque converter and I think the clutches in the rear end are slipping. Figure a nice easy southern truck job so you know how nice it is, when it isn't 140 in the shop anyway hahahaha

I owned a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that developed a problem with egr valve code. I replaced the valve myself and noticed a bunch of carbon soot in tube that goes from egr valve to valve cover. Cleaned it all out and cleared code but car was still not running right, and began to use oil overtime. Cut to chase I ended up needing a new cat and co2 sensors. I also did a tuneup with new plugs and wires. This was a problem that got progressively worse to the point I had no engine power and could go not faster than 45 mph. My mechanic wasnt sure exactly what went wrong first but all of those things work together. After repairs were made that car ran like new and stopped using oil, and was peppy as hell!

I have a 2004 chevy suburban 2500 with the fuel efficient 8. 1L I replaced the batery and the lights started flickering. I then replaced the alternator and it got worse. I'm a mechanic also so im sure you know how it is being to busy with family and also getting off and severely lacking ambition to work on my own stuff I was wondering if you have any input? I love your videos they tough me that quality over quantity is the way to go. Thank you from your fellow mechanic in wisconsin. f rust

I own a 2006 3. 8L Chrysler Town&Country. Had a P0404 (EGR valve) I replace brand new. Also a P1684 code, what do I replace the TCM or the PCM? At a stand still when I press the gas it feels as if I start in 3rd gear. Have you had this problem? I reset codes and both codes keep coming back. P. S. my PCM is located in a smart area under dash behind brake not in the wheel well.

I have a 2007 T&C and I have had three false leads so far on where it is (ECM. The engine configuration is different than the one you are showing. Would you be so kind to tell me where the thing is? I have a replacement, but I have been on a wild goose chase trying to find it.

It really irritates me how shops will throw parts at things hoping it will fix it. STILL charge the customer when it's not fixed and then say. Hey, Thanks for buying me a new boat. Take it over to this guy and he'll fix it for ya. This is exactly why people don't trust mechanics.

The wifes 2010 caravan has the same location I believe for the computer. Cant wait for it to fail. Shocked FCA didnt worry about excessive summer heat in the wheel well and relocated the ECM to inside the windshield fluid bottle for added cooling! Oh well, just a thought.

How many different scan tools/ Snap-Off /Bosch / Autel/ Launch etc etc diagnostic boxes of tricks do you own Eric? It would make an interesting short vid just showing what it takes to be an All Makes Mechanic. or have you made that vid already and i'm still 2 years behind?
